Overwatch confirms visual destruction of KNF capital ship threat.
As well, Aniela unit and Kiretsu units engaged an Exogen breach, codename Ba'alencer inside the Hokkaido juristictional zone. Airwatch commenced tactical reconnisence and determined the target to be of gunboat class. Target bypassed airwatch unit and was intercepted by [Kiretsu] forces. Airwatch moved to intercept and provide fire support.
Target was identified as a Type-7 gunboat-analogue entity. Airwatch and Kiretsu forces maintained pressure on the target as it attempted to prolong the engagement by evasion behavior, but our forces quickly outmanuvered and destroyed the Exogen breach.
Because of their attack on Kiretsu entities and their attempts at diplomatic Sabotage, ALL EXOGENS ARE TO BE SOUGHT AND DESTROYED.
Attempts were made to recover wreckage from the enemy Gunboat-Analogue. Most of the core componants were destroyed in the blast, but we have managed to salvage some hull componants. Inital study of the mettalurgy indicates conventional super-alloys inlayed with nanite weaves and unknown organic polymers. We may be able to adapt this to our own hardware, but it will take some time to research similar manufacturing techniques.
Inital sweep of the Tohoku and Honshu systems indicated no immediate threats, until we were engaged by a KNF DESRON en route to the New Tokyo jumpgate. The crew obviously wasn't experianced though (//npcs) and was quickly done away with.
As we arrived at the gate however, we detected what we thought was a civilian vessel. Scans indicated heavy ECM activity, disrupting even our own sensors and countermeasures. We captured the vessel in a magntetic harpoon using the Image Recognition tracker, and tried to identify it. We detected no lifesigns, and picked up a transmission code... on our frequencies!
As it turns out, the vessel was an AI, of Consortium design apparently. However, it's memory was damaged and heavily corrupted. It mis-identified Dacker and Watsas, but determined itself to be Consortium. We have it aboard now.
We initally took it with us back to Tohoku, but were engaged by a lone Exogen bomber. The AI showed significant combat prowess despite it's weakened state, but our CIWS guns ultimately got the killing blow.
After the Exogen was dispatched, we moved to position in Okinawa, in Niiza orbit. Overwatch contacted us and instructed us to keep the AI secured and docked with us while we try to recalibrate it's systems in our internal lab. We are maintaining position until further notice.

Earlier today, Airwatch forces encountered a free parasitic and a possible Collaberator in the Tohoku juristictional area. \CS\-Lady.Aniela moved to investigate. Scans indicated an Outcast bomber and Exogen vessel identified as Type-4 Sentient Growth. Neither vessel idnetified us off the bat.
Airwatch prompted response from the Exogen as we commenced close range scans. Response indicated the Exogen was fixated on the captured necrotics in stasis in Aniela's hold. Secondary target indicated alligance with the Exogen.
Exogen showed hostility immedietly thereafter. Local forces in the form of \CS\-Hoshinokatana and \CS\-Vivio moved to assist. We instructed the large ships to stay clear to avoid damaging the exogens or themselves. The Exogen proved significantly more capable then those previously encountered, battle telemetry will be studied for further use in surpression operations.
Ultimately, the Exogen was destroyed by our tactical units.
The Collaborator was identified as an outcast by the name of Ayem.ibn.Sina. The outcast questioned our presance, tactical imperitaves, and strategic mandates. We explained to the individual that hostility shown by the exogens was cause for a direct military response. The individual was apparently too convinced otherwise. Unfortunately, the individual managed to escape our dragnet.
Minuites later, we encountered an Order tactical squadron which was hunting the Exogen. Without revealing ourselves and our identification, we coerced them into withdraw. One of the Order vessels was targeted by the defense weapons on Ryuku base and destroyed. The others were escorted out of the system peacefully.
We are to avoid direct conflict with the Order for the time being...

However, we do have an issue present. Due to rising MOX costs, and our current financial downturn, we are having trouble keeping our capital ships running. As well as the fact that we are for the time being unable to access Takeda shipyards for repairs and maintnance, we are going to have to reserve our capital ship fleet for critical operations ONLY.
Tactical fighters, bombers, and Gunboats are to remain the primary combatants of our fleet, and should be more then enough to hold the blockade. Capital ships are only to be brought to bear against enemy capital ships or large strikecraft swarms for the time being, and are not to be deployed unsupported.
At about 23:45 hours, PECKERSAT grid detected a large anomaly in Tohoku juristiction. Mass and energy patterns indicated an Exogen entity of approximately cruiser mass. \CS\-Darak.Ti was deployed to intercept.
We began long range scans and identified the target as a Type-14 Large Growth. We proceeded to scan it at range and Verify it's energy patterns, but couldn't close the distance with it. It apparently assumed our intentions were hostile and eventually we were forced to engage it.
The engagement was brief, and we apparently underestimated the capability of their weapon systems. Our shields were disabled and we were forced to withdraw via a tactical Hyperspace jump to Okinawa. However, the engagement did provide us with useful information on Exogen capital ships and tactics. Analysis of the hull damage is underway, and we will attempt to adapt our tactics and hull plating in the future. We should be fully repaired in about 15 hours time.

FORCES ENGAGED Subordinate:
\CS\-Darak.Ti [OC Destroyer] (Damaged/Retreated via Hyperspace)
The simple answer to this equasion is that a single destroyer is insufficient to engage a singular vessel of this type. Any destroyers should be backed up by an element of bombers or a few gunboats at the least. However, the data transmitted and gained from this engagement should prove beneficial in future engagements. It is presumed that the Exogen is still present in the area and should be engaged as soon as additional forces are available.
We are continuing repairs and awaiting further instructions.

-Subject: Commerce Interdiction Protocols
We are updating our priorities on organised disruption and aquisition of trade in Kusari. Due to decreased Blood Dragon and Golden Chrysanthemum activity, it falls on us to further disrupt Kusari industry. Attacking every single transport is unfeasable, so to cripple Kusari, we are to assault directly their industry and infrastructure, leaving nothing for them to haul cargo to.
However, and merchant ships encountered are to be hunted down and captured. If at all possible, interned ships are to be captured intact and forced to submit. Any resistance means the vessel is to be vented and the bodies of it's crew recovered for recycling.
The following factions are of special intrest to us.
When interdicting, it is advised to keep one or more transport ships on standby to recover critical target cargoes for our own uses. We should have as many freighters and transports as possible. Targets will be given one clear message to submit. Malcompliance or Resistance is to be met with destruction or forced imposition of will.
Cargo-specific paramaters are as follows
CARGOES TO BE CAPTURED All 'Live Cargo' (VIPs, Ship crew, Gaian wildlife, etc) for augmentation/recycling purposes* Exogen Remains/Entities for research/recycling Any and all Alien technologies/artifacts for reverse engineering Military Vehicles for recycling/conversion to Consortium use Pineal Amulets for reverse engineering/weaponisation research (Do not pirate TAZ anymore) Liquid Cardamine for research Mining Machinery Construction Machinery Robotic Componants Light Arms Black Market Munitions Quantum Multiplexors Raw Minerals (Copper, Silver, Boron, Cobalt, Niobium, etc) for Consortium Industrial use Spacecraft/Industrial componants (Hull Panels, Super Alloy, Superconductors, Engine componants, etc) for Consortium Industrial use Nanocapacitors Optronics/Optical Chips Oil H-Fuel
*Allied Pilots (GC, Dragon, Lane Hacker, Bundschuh, TAZ/Zoner) are to be returned to their organisations as expediantly as possible, and unharmed/un-modified in any way. All other pilots are subject to augmentation
Sucessful recovery of cargoes is to be recorded in our Neurocyte network for catalogue and forwarding to industrial teams to facilitate integration into our stockpile.
Finally, It is requested that if feasable, any target ship you happen to come across be captured INTACT if at all possible. A whole ship can be stripped bare for parts or potentially even used for our own purposes in the Aux or OPFOR fleets. This goes for civilian, commercial, and hostile military vessels. However, if not feasable, or of the crew proves malcompliant, do not waste time or energy attempting a force-boarding if not directly ordered.
All other standing interdiction protocols are in effect.

Attention all Airwatch forces. The Blockade of Tohoku and all operations in that system are now cancelled. The Exogen threat in the region has effectively been crushed, and there is the possibility for Diplomatic action on the part of the Dragons which would negatively affect us.
COMMAND: All airwatch forces in Tohoku are to commence pullout within 48 standard hours and rebase to the Okinawa system. The fleet is to gather in taskgroup formation near the GCX-Matsuda and await further instructions. Kappa-pattern operations into Honshu and Nagano are suggested.
As well, I want to deploy more drones to Planetoid OKI-77312 (NIIZA) to continue survey for construction of surface facilities.
Any other Exogen vessels are to be ignored unless they show further hostility. If they attack us or the GC, defensive engagement is authorised. We will continue screenings of all vessels encountered and confiscate any Exogen entities for disposal.
Personel Notice, our attempts to persue cordial relations with House Rheinland have begun in earnest, with myself having gotten the attention of the [RM] and relayed to them our diplomatic intentions. Inital contact has been made with several RM pilots who were skeptical of us, but not completely disregarding of our intent.
Now, the reason for diplomacy with Rhineland is for the purposes of supporting them in any conflict against Liberty, and ensure the latter fails spectacularly. Because the Liberty military vastly outsizes that of Rheinland, and Liberty is in an overall better economic and politically solid position, we cannot trust that Rheinland will be victorious without our intervention.
To this end, we will be openly persuing diplomacy with both the Reichstag and Gottkanzler himself, as well as the various Unlawful factions. In the case of the latter, the Red Hessian Army would be a valuble ally in terms of keeping the Corsairs and Necrotics in check, and the Alster Union would help to delay Liberty in the Independant worlds. The LWB and Bundschuh may be a bit trickier to negotiate with, but if we gain the trust of the larger factions, we can convince them of our good intentions.
The premise of our alligance will be supporting Rheinland with access to limited examples of our advanced technology and military intelligence. As we have to keep our fleet forces in Kusari, obviously. Though, to ensure Rheinland's compliance, we will need to give them something...
-INSTRUCTION
We will need to demonstrate to the Rheinlanders that we are capable of delivering on delivery of intelligence. Therefore, our intelligence teams, covert ops units, Blackwatch, and SpecWar teams are begin operations INSIDE Liberty proper. This is Code Whiteout top secret, and to be treated as such.
I want general information on Libertonian political structure, military operations, force deployments, weapon research, the works. We will need something to wet the appetite of the Rheinland military intelligence community, as well as for our own purposes. Liberty, as far as we are aware, knows nothing about the Consortium and wouldn't suspect our malign intent. I want it to stay that way.
I will continue on the diplomatic front, but I want Ulrich Kassner and Juliet November in Liberty to begin intelligence gathering protocols. I am also modifying our C-Miners deployed in that sector for covert intel gathering. Please submit information over Neurocyte links for collation and forwarding to Rhineland.
***
FINAL NOTES: Should any of our vessels enter Rheinland, they are instructed to keep a low profile, obey RM instruction, and follow all of Rheinland's laws and regulations. You are also to avoid being seen calluding with criminal elements, although both Lawfuls and Unlawfuls are to be made aware we are indiffrent toward their internal politics, and are not to interfere with their internal operations.
However, our military vessels aside from diplomatic corps and logistics ships are to remain outside Rheinland space proper until we are on more stable diplomatic footing with it's major factions.

-Subject: Self-retasking/Comm frequency changes/command uplink changes
All personel note, there has been a change in several ship transponders which you are to be made aware of.
The comm signatures known as \CS\-Ironwatsas[A] and \CS\-Ironwatsas-B have been changed to \CS\-Fiirkan and \CS\-Enforcer respectively.
The reason for this is that I am no longer going to be manually remote-controlling tactical drones on my own. It is inefficient. I am dedicating the time and hardware formerly used for that purpose to other tasking. Currently, Fiirkan (Scimitar) is controlled by Steve, on assignment to Rhineland, and the Enforcer (Falcata Bomber) by Couper.
I am still retaining my command priority, and can communicate through the Neurocyte network should I need to. However, I am currently busy with a number of administrative issues and priority tasking. If anyone needs to speak to me directly, I am to be contacted over official channels.
To simplify:
\CS\-Ironwatsas[A] = \CS\-Fiirkan
\CS\-Ironwatsas-B = \CS\-Enforcer
***
Because of said administrative issues, and myself reaching the limits of multitasking capability and processor power, I am appointing \CS\-Juliet.November to Codex Ajutant Primary. She is to be classified as 2nd in command and will be given freedom of operational command authority. All other Airwatch delegates are to acknowlage any of Juliet's directives.
All standing operations are to remain unaffected. Standing instructions are as follows in order of priority:
1: Tactical Security of the Okinawa system
2: Protection of Consortium, GC, and Kiretsu assets
3: Strategic Reconnisence inside Liberty
4: Open Diplomacy with House Rhineland
5: Open Diplomacy with Lane Hackers
6: Open Diplomacy with GMG
7: Stockpile Funds, Resources, and Hardware
8: Monitor Order activity

-Subject: Response to Kiretsu distress call
Kiretsu distress call was received, details showed that a Gaian Gunship was causing troubles for two Kiretsu Fighters and they were unable to deal with it without support. The Darak.Ti was dispatched to deal with the gunboat, which was subsequently destroyed, and let the fighters duke it out between them, however additional KNF forces were dispatched at the same time one of the Kiretsu fighters were destroyed. This posed a larger threat than before, after a situation update orders were ascertained to cause as much damage as possible before the additional Gunboat turned up to ensure a more balanced outcome. The ship did little damage to the fighters as expected, then the Gunboat turned up opening fire on the remaining Kiretsu fighter instead of the Darak.Ti, which was a tactical mistake.
The KNF Gunboat posed a large threat as it maintained an evasive stance while trying to attack the fighter, causing the attack on the ship to take longer than anticipated, however the exceptional flying of the Kiretsu pilot ensured it did not explode, giving the time needed to destroy the gunboat. The Gunboat experienced an engine failure or a life support failure, as the ship did not appear to respond after a large Battle razor hit to the hull, the ship then drifted off allowing two mortar hits to be placed on the hull of the craft, swiftly destroying it.
One of the two KNF fighters was destroyed by the Kiretsu pilot, the other retreated. A Blood Dragon entity showed up at the fight but was too late to enter active combat. After ensuring the safe exit of all entities, the Darak.Ti resumed position in Okinawa. No damage was present on the hull as shield capacity never went below 50%.
FORCES ENGAGED Subordinate:
\CS\-Darak.Ti [OC Destroyer] (Survived)
[Kiretsu]-Kougake [GC VHF] (Survived)
[Kiretsu]-Kishin [GC VHF] (Destroyed, Pod recovered by Kougake)
The Darak.Ti and the Hoshinokatana cannot always deal with these kind of threats, more Bombers are advised to take an active stance in Airwatch operations.
Airwatch detected two contacts in Nagano juristiction. Interceptors including myself (\CS\-Lady.Aniela) and \CS\-Carla, were directed to the sector to identify the anomalies. We detected singular entity en-route to Okinawa juristiction, >Ippiki.Ookami<, which was tracked and VID as hostile strikecraft. Biotic was instructed to submit. Proved Malcompliant. Sterilisation procedures initiated.
After merging with biotic, scans were taken indicating it was carrying a large number of GC and Dragon alligants as well as Exogen entities.
Malignant attempted resistance.
Malignant self preservation was unsucessful.
Pilots were sucessfully recovered and all brought to the >Matsuda< engine for processing. Alligants were undamaged. Exogen cells did not have any contamination risk and were subsiquently disposed of through dark-energy dispersal.
Following this, airwatch assumed commerce interdiction tasking in Okinawa system. No enemy logistics were encountered. Airwatch returned to >Matsuda< hardpoint and held position.
