I'd appreciate if someone could explain to me a few things about current relations between Kusari and Gallia.
- The Kusari Exiles pushed the Republican Navy from Kyushu and moved the Nagasaki to Roppongi to guard the planet New Tokyo from a potential threat while the Kusari Exiles are reforming the Republic. - - Correct?
- The Gallic Crown was in good relations with the Republic, but now we have Kusari Exiles, who fought the Crown, forming the new Republic. - - What is the Crown going to now, are they going to fight the new Republic or...?
Trade relations are kept up but there are no official treaties between the Gallic Crown and the Reformed Empire at this point. The Nagasaki is at Roppongi to secure the establishment of the new goverment, this was done. So it is just there as symbol for now.
How future relations of Gallia and Kusari develop is partly planned, partly needs to be played out. A war is unlikely at the moment though.

To clarify Kusari Empire's position regarding treaties signed with House Gallia, the Tau decree signed between the Republic of Kusari and House Gallia is still considered as valid by both parties.
Well the Republic will now consist of Kusari Exiles which were fighting the Gauls the whole time and seeing that trade relations are going to be ok with Gauls is kinda meh to be honest.

The situation is really fucky the moment. The new Republic is forming, it's weak and they cannot afford a war against the crown so the neutrality would seem like a good idea.
One the other hand, the new Republic consists of people that were actively fighting the Crown and I am trying to see the situation from the King's perspective. They're so weak that the Crown could easily break them, can the Crown afford another front? I don't know.
I would love to see other people's thoughts and suggestions.
The "new" Republic has come and gone already. They were the ones who "supported " Gallia place in the stage, and aligned their relations accordingly in regards to council and other opponents of GRN.
Now that the Reformed Kusari Empire is back (a politically weakened hybrid of the two sides of the civil dispute), persistent collaboration with Royalist Gallia is not enforced anymore, and Council has been a minor issue for years to be opposed by Kusari itself. Sort of.
Ditto for Crayter.
That's cool and nice, but so far it seems the RKE is intending to follow up on the diplomatic relations of the Republic without any significant change whatsoever. Or so I thought until Werdi came and wrote something contradicting my previous observations. Now I'm confused and waiting for clarification.
