My name is Magdalena Atzenbruck, President of ALG.
It is unfortunate that we must write under these circumstances. As of the writing of this message, civilian traffic from Rheinland has been banned from the Reformed Empire of Kusari.
We cannot fully calculate the economic damage done by this decision, but considering the two houses had previously been closest trade partners, it is estimated that over a third of all trade income for both will vanish, which would cause a devastating wave of bankruptcies on both sides.
ALG has worked hard to reduce the influence of the more radical voices in the Bundestag, calling for immediate expulsion of all Kusari nationals, and to maintain some level of trade which is simply indispensable for our economies. Unfortunately, it seems as if we have wasted our time as with this banning, the Bundestag is essentially guaranteed to approve a similar blockade of Kusari shipping in response.
The board of directors of ALG has agreed to condemn the declaration of war by the Federal Republic of Rheinland, as we consider the claim to the system of Sigma-21 by the Gas Miners Guild to be legitimate, as seen in our official statement.
It is our sincere wish that this conflict is resolved as soon as possible, but we respectfully request the Reformed Empire to permit our ships to trade in your space. Additionally, we strongly urge the Reformed Empire to immediately drop the ban on Rheinland shipping in general, as this ban will undoubtedly carry a mirror ban from the Rheinland side as consequence. The fraction in the Bundestag opposing all Kusari shipping had previously been in the minority, but if this decision is not reversed very quickly the full ban will undoubtedly pass.
If that indeed happens, our economists warn that a major economic crisis will befall both houses, which is a situation more important to avoid than the claim on the system of Sigma-21.
Regrettably, the short window we had to avoid a complete breakdown of economic relations between the houses has passed.
At this time we are unclear about our legal status, as in the public embargo declaration it is stated that "Trading ships of Rheinland corporations, companies or business individuals are banned from Kusari", while in Section 6-2 of the Kusari Legal Codex Daumann Heavy Construction, Kruger Minerals and Republican Shipping have been listed as unwelcome entities, but not ALG.
We respectfully request clarification on this situation, and wish to restate our opposition to the conflict and the position of the Federal Republic of Rheinland regarding it.
Regards, Magdalena Atzenbruck

Why hello there. My apologizes for the missing reply to your first message. Everything went more than a bit messy with this conflict heating up, you can surely imagine this.
Let us get to your questions right away though. The Kusari Legal Codex is correct. The banned entities only include the listed corporations. ALG Waste Disposal was supposed to receive a special treatment due to your unique role in the recycling industry. Your stance towards this conflict started by the Rheinland Military also asked for a special treatment. So we sat down and discussed. A damn lot if I may say so.
To your luck the last meeting regarding ALGs treatment was held today noon and we are ready to forward you the plans the Empire of Kusari sees fit.
My name is Anita Raichert, Director of Shipping for ALG. Thank you for your response and positive clarification. Instructions have been given to our shipping fleet regarding the details of the embargo and associated tariffs, I don't anticipate any confusion on the matter. We are committed to maintaining as much of the vital economic link between our great houses as we are permitted to do.
In addition, we will maintain our support for the anti-war legislators in the Bundestag, in the hopes of cutting short what should be no more than a minor misstep in an otherwise prosperous relationship.
Thank you for your time, Anita Raichert
