A man dressed in the most purplest of purple suits with golden trim sits on a ship bridge commander's chair, his golden-plated spectacles that complement his otherwise chiseled, middle-aged jawline backed by a pair of soft, blue eyes.

Relaxed on his chair, a hand stroking his bubblegum-pink mustache and hair, he starts.

"Salutations, and may the solars guide thee, Kane-dear. Thou may call yours-truly Mr.Fabulous, or Fabulous for short, Fab for even shorter. Our company, Golden Oak Tours, has contacted thy most-illustrious group... in the hopes of inviting thee over for dinner sometime!"

He chuckles a bit at his statement, "While that may have come out a little wrongly, I and our company's most-sincerely interested in getting to know the Natio more. While 'twould be hasty to assume as of yet, we feel there might be some potential in forming an eventual partnership of sorts.

"But rather than discuss such trivialities over the cold confines of long-distance communication, I feel this diplomatic matter requires a more... personal touch." He waves his hand casually through the air as he continues, "An opportunity for thee and yours-truly to showcase each other's best foot forward, wouldn't thou say?"

He smiles to the camera, and says, "Let us know where and when would be thy earliest of conveniences for a luncheon, or mayperhaps a dinner party, and we'll redirect one of our more illustrious liners to thy designated rendezvous point to meet thee. Thou may contact us through various sources: either through this comms thread, through our Discord Server Link, or through our Public Communications Board.

"We hope only for the oh-so-best of circumstances to come out of such a meeting, Kane-dear.

Greetings, uh...

Kane looks down at the message he's responding to and raises an eyebrow.

Mr. Harrington.

It is odd to see things of this nature cross my desk. For one, the Tau-44 system is rather grey. Not many sights are to be had there, and I'm sure the other residents of the system would question the presence of a spaceborne tour bus and may even go so far as to put unhappy glowing holes in it in the name of protecting Crayterian interests in the system. All two of them.

That being said, who am I to turn away potential business?

I'm interested in hearing your proposal, though I must say I'm not sure what exactly it is that we are able to offer each other unless by some random chance your tour busses are actually a front for the transfer of interesting goods and the like. Though, if they are, we're interested in hearing more, and if they're not, I of course never asked any such question and do not ask such questions when opening trade relations with heretofore unknown corporations.

Your proposal to meet for dinner is unexpectedly forward. I will need to look at my calendar to determine possible dates, but in the meantime, a high level overview of your business venture and how it would be a good fit for our fledgling economic sector to invest in would be greatly appreciated. I've got thirty thousand mouths to feed and money isn't as easy to come by in our current position as it was in a previous, more highwayman-esque life.

The purple-dressed man chuckles on his ship bridge commander's chair, adjusting his golden-plated spectacles to line up properly to his soft, blue eyes.

"Salutations, and may the solars guide thee, Kane-dear. I do believe we've managed to get on the wrong foot, it seems!

"I merely asked if thee and thy organization were open for a simple dinner party! All this talk about 'partnerships' and 'business dealings'..." he giggles and covers his mouth as he did so, his eyes amused as he continues, "... and thou calls yours-truly 'unexpectedly-forward', dear-oh-dear! We and our organizations have barely known much about each other, if at all, and th'art already considering the prospect of marr-- I mean, partnerships ahead of time! At the very least let us take thee to dinner first before we seal the patrimonial deal, won't thee?"

He clears his throat and says, "With that said... If 'twas disrespectful for us to bring one of our company's liners to thy people, then our company sincerely apologizes for the disrespect, which we not at all meant.

"As a show of goodwill on our part, our company also possesses in its fleet some Nobleman-class transports more than willing to deliver to thy people thy choice of some of our premium products on our first meeting, available for thee to peruse at our General Info Board, sub-header ZoI & Routes, Commodity Routes... for no cost at all from thee! Free supplies, to grant thy people a small taste of our luxurious offerings.

"'Tis through this transport that yours-truly and our company will rendezvous with thee and thy organization to partake upon the loveliest of luncheons and such! And perhaps there, 'twill be able to discuss more... intimate dealings between our groups, hmmm?

"No rush at all for thee to rush a decision of course, but 'twould be oh-so-rude to keep a date invitation waiting upon thee now, wouldn't it?" He smiles warmly to the camera as he places both hands on the hook of his cane.

"... Fabulous out."
