My name is Ipaxator, a Venator of the Auxesian Covenant. We desire to inquire the possibility of the construction of smelters and recycling centers? Does ALG offer these services? What are the costs and time considerations to be expected with this type of construction project? Space bound installations and planetside factories differences?
The Covenant has expressed interest in pursuing avenues of reusing materials and debris, particularly due to the large abundance of scrap metals and derelict ship parts from the Gallic War, including neglected scrap deposits in the nearby houses bordering the Independent Worlds. It is most wasteful to leave valuable resources left laying around to rot, wouldn't you agree?
My name is Marika Hornik, Director of Waste Management for ALG.
The construction of smelting and other metallurgical facilities is something we specialize in. Of course, to satisfy your request for estimates on such a project, we will need a lot more detail. The area of the Gallic war front is generally neglected in terms of scrap removal and salvaging; our policy thus far has been that given our lack of supporting facilities and the political sensitivities involved, establishing our own operations to this end is not currently feasible.
In particular, the Kingdom of Gallia has in our experience been categorically opposed to any such work, even forbidding us from continuing the clearing of Leeds' toxic smog clouds.
In any case, I can have a team assembled and sent to a location of your choice to work out the details of your request. Thank you for your time.
Private transportation for the site analysts will be provided in the name of privacy due to the sensitivity of the location, naturally this will mean that the convoy will be covered by our paramilitary. The designated meet up point for pick up and drop off will be in Bretonia. Does this sound acceptable?
I've dispatched an engineering team to London to rendezvous with your escorts. This project really caught my interest, so much in fact that I've personally joined the team. We will be awaiting your units at Kensington Shipping Platform when we arrive on the personnel transport Salzach.
I look forward to working with you!
We've completed all our surveys and our team has made blueprints for you planned expansion. I won't go through all the details right now, but we've planned an expansion of D-wing to the solar east, extending into a major processing facility. However, our own fleets and engineers are overburdened due to developments in Rheinland. We would like to sign a contract for the expansion of your facility, but only for the blueprint, not the actual construction, as we likely won't have the personnel available.
We will also offer a team for the actual operation of the new smelting facilities; we just cannot assist in the construction. We will forward all the relevant information to you or any party you contract for the construction, and the Salzach's team will oversee the actual construction, if you agree.
Thank you for the effort you and your teams have put in. Construction can either be delegated to a third party as you've suggested or handled by our drones. That decision remains to be made. In the meantime, I'd like to explore the possibility of adding another expansion to the current plans, modifying our arrangement slightly. Of course, you'll be appropriately compensated.
The Covenant is currently in the midst of another expansion phase, and the smelters that your company will be providing are part of these efforts. I'd like to consider the possibility of approaching this expansion as an off-shoot of the Citadel, and adding the construction of a handful of shipyard bays to accommodate larger vessels, with necessary ports for off-loading metals and other objects for the refineries to process. While I am aware that ship construction is not the ALG's expertise, deconstruction when cleaning scrap fields of wrecks and other debris tend to involve facilities of this scale. Incorporating the refineries into this expansion would turn the project into one bulk construction effort rather than multiple projects with the same intent operating simultaneously. This will also conserve space, and increase the productivity of the teams conducting the work by not having them separated or forced to work on other locations.
If however this is not possible, then the original arrangement is agreeable and we can proceed posthaste.

It's been a long time, but we're in the final stages of the construction of your smelting plant. With the loss of business in other areas, we've had a lot of unused capacity, so we've been able to focus more on projects like this one. I'll give you a brief outline of the functionality of the facility.
- Cargo bay C8 is has been cleared and reinforced for bulk scrap storage. The bulkhead lock from the central harbor serves as a radiation shield for potential hazards from reactor components and is not to be entered by unshielded personnel. The divisional barrier at line at B+22 marks a structural hazard area and is not to be passed by any personnel unless the bay is clear and passes a radiation inspection. The capacity of the bay is rated at 4 000 tons which should not be exceeded under any circumstance.
- The connecting section to the smelting facility is outfitted with a HTO "Handyman" 7710 crane and magnetic compression unit. After preliminary inspection, scrap components can be handled by the system automatically, which will separate bulk smelting product and usable components, compress and move the materials into the processing unit. The unit can be accessed via maintenance shaft C-R4 if necessary, which has been fitted with a separate radiation bulkhead.
- Designated F5, the actual smelting facility is where the "real" work happens, so to speak. It is bisected into the reactor refurbishment section, accessible only with radiation hazmat gear, and the smelting section, which is accessible with standard heat-protection gear. The overall capacity of the foundry is approximately forty tons per hour, dependent on the alloys processed. In a convenient twist to an otherwise unfortunate circumstance, we have been able to bring in a number of components from Dortmund's smelters after we ceased operations.
That concludes the brief technical overview of the expansion. Of course, the blueprints and maintenance instructions have been supplied to the station's management. Of course, to actually run these facilities, qualified engineering personnel will be needed. Naturally, we encourage you to hire ALG staff for this, as with the recent loss of nearly all our Rheinland assets, we are overflowing with specialized personnel out of work.
Sorry for our late response to your message. We were going under serious changes in our modus operandi and it took some time.
I have personally reviewed blueprints and instructions you have provided. Indeed, this is a great work of engineering art and it would be a pleasure to have such equipment on our station. I acknowledge that we lost some time because of our 'transformation' but I hope that our order is ready for accession. If it's not - it's not a big deal, We do understand what is happening right now in Rheinland and We are ready to assist you in case you need help.
This includes your proposal of hiring your personell. I can't deny it, your people are too valuable just to lose them in turmoil of inner conflict in Rheinland. We might need to expand our housing to accommodate personell but you will find our place very safe and quiet haven. Just give me more information about that topic and estimated number of people you are willing to provide Us. We also can arrange 'evacuation' from deeps of Imperial Rheinland. Or 'hijacking' if you need to cover 'evacuation' up.
I hope I will get answer soon from you and be safe out there.
We hope you are faring well with the situation in Rheinland... It is said that the Imperials are getting worse and worse over time. We do hope that the Bundschuh and the Federal remnants are faring well?
Anyhow. To the point of this transmission, we have some job opportunities, if you are interested that is. To put it simply, we have had our eye on a wreckage of a observation station for a long while in the Inverness sector, primarily to transform it into a military control point to protect the system from the Crystalline lifeforms that we all familiar with, the Nomads. Though there is a obstacle within our intents. The wreckage itself is contaminated with botches of radiation from the exposed reactor...
We are more than willing to offer a generous amount of credits for assistance in securing this said satellite. Of course, if there are other methods you desire to be compensated with, we are more than willing to listen.
