In the singleplayer campaign, you go inside of the dyson sphere and, I could be wrong, not only does it look like habitable land on the inside, there's, well, the entire nomad everything inside of it. Nomads not only live off of solar radiation, they thrive in it. Sure they might get BBQ'd well inside of a corona, but they are basically mega-photosynthesis bio-robots. For all intents and purposes, the dyson sphere is the perfect nomad 'breeding' ground.
