As far as I'm aware the single player campaign ends with Trent defeating the nomads and saving Sirius. If that is so what would justify the nomads becoming a threat again? If they were defeated by the Order once, would they not easily be subject to defeat again, considering humanity knows a lot more about them now?
I'm speaking about direct physical threat, not subterfuge from infected agents. I also vaguely remember that the big nomad battleships actually used a Wilde space shipyard to be constructed in the campaign.
For clarification, those Marduks "produced" at Schatten were supposed to be the first ones of that kind. The Nomads clearly had other Marduks ready in other missions, so I am quite certain they are not directly required to be constructed at a human shipyard. Since people are so keen to treat the Director's Cut intro as canon, the Suncrusher was clearly not built in a human shipyard either.
My guess is that the hybrid ships that were supposed to be built at Schatten were supposed to have a different model, but since DA had to rush Freelancer, they just placed Marduks there.

The long intro doesn't say anything about how the sun crusher was built. In Star Lancer, the coalition suddenly shows up with cloaks at Kennedy station on Europa. And the Suncrusher also suddenly uncloaks. Could be a hint.
The game clearly says the Marduks were built by Rheinalnders. What makes you think there were also some who weren't? I guess they could theoretically also have been originally built by the DKV and the Nomads found them, and then produced more with the help of Rheinland. But if the nomads are able to mass produce Marduks themselves, why would they bother having Rheinlanders do it?
