If you had been paying attention, diplomacy is not the forte of our people as a whole. As you can see from our clearly vast dominion, we've obtained what we have through sheer brute force. Perhaps because of this, you look down on us. However, playing on your diplomatic terms here, I will remind you, Fyre, that the Corsairs patrol Omega 49 in the Zoner's place. If you shut off your bases to us, there will be consequences.
If you wish to make thinly veiled threats to us and our people, then be assured you will get what you give.
How we choose to deal with our problems is entirely at the behest of our people themselves, and for you neither to comment nor advise. The only reason that Elder Globalo has come to the Zoners with this complaint, and others in the past, is because the Corsairs have been trying to engage in diplomacy. Unfortunatly, it seems obvious that Zoners such as yourselves still view us with distaste, and I can assure you, the feeling is mutual.
However, a Zoner advising on the inner workings of the Corsairs, and talking down to an Elder on the council is not on at all. Were it not for other factors, I doubt that any diplomatic dealings would have taken place at all with your kind.
Vessels found to be breeching our laws and codes in our home will be destroyed. Exceptions and exemptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. Omicron Gamma is our home, and as such, we can treat intruders into our home as we like, as friends or as enemies.
Ive missed your refreshing and potent communications hermano Montoya. I agree and support your comments fully. As you know the OPG will back you up should the zoners wish to press this matter further.
Please keep this from going further, am sorry for what happened and it is up to Corsairs to decide what happens in their systems and i respect that, even if I find your actions too agressive it is up to you. I don't want this to cause trouble for both sides.
This is a Diplomatic venue. As such, I would expect that anyone making use of it, would understand that participation within this particular venue DENOTES an understanding and an acceptance of the precepts of said venue. In short, a blanket statement that the Corsairs are not diplomats, negates the original use of the diplomatic venue in the first place. Your own words, Sir, NOT mine.
Regarding your perception of a threat; Nowhere in my response did I issue any threat, veiled or otherwise. I pointed out that We enjoy a mutual and beneficial commercial relationship that should continue regardless of misunderstandings and unfortunate events. My concern was not the posturing of some form of false bravado or bullying tactic, rather I called your pilot on an error of judgement, with respect to the use of a diplomatic channel to justify their own actions, which in and of itself might be viewed as insecurity upon the part of the pilot.
As a fellow pilot, I would NEVER attempt to usurp nor hinder the sovereignity of your Home System. That is neither my intent nor my desire. I see no reason to allow what was clearly a grave and unfortunate misunderstanding to escalate beyond it's unfortunate conclusion. Perhaps all have learned something here today. I certainly do hope that is the case.
For my own part. The respect is there. It is my intent to drive the point home, that the logic and policy of "Might makes Right" falls upon deaf ears. If I have given you the impression of any form of threat or disrespect, you have my most sincere apology.
Ms Fyre, I will point out, you have suggested that Elder Globalo, one of the most dedicated and oldest members of the Corsair community not take part in diplomacy. You suggest that he has no place being involved in Diplomatic goings on, you criticize his handling of a situation that was only brought about by Zoners bringing Passengers to Crete, and you have the gaul to try to lay responsibility for this incident on his shoulders? Ms. Fyre, I think it is you who should stay out of diplomacy, I think it is you who does not understand the subtleties involved in this endeavorer. Where is Mal when he is needed, he seems to have a better grip on the realities of diplomacy that the rest of you discordians. Ms. Fyre, until Mal returns I would ask you to stay out of Zoner/Corsair diplomacy, you seem not to have the disposition for it.
I thank you for your words and will make clear to you my intention to withdraw my voice from further comment regarding the unfortunate events that have unfolded earlier. My duties and ultimate authority rests with Mal and I am confident that he will make the appropriate decisions regarding any and all discordian interests. I shall, with humility and most respect, return to my patrols and await the return of my superior, heeding your most thoughtful and considerate request.
COR! Senorita Fyre is one hot lady. I wonder if she wants to join my harem. Ive not got a zoner wife yet. You know Montoya im inclined to let her deliver herself up to me at spineholme. Providing my first wife doesnt gut her from neck to naval she might make a good wife.

Again these zoners with their threats. I wait patiently for the day that the Corsair Council decides to rid the omegas of these parasitic fools. Forbid us on your bases? *laughs* Bah, we can destroy your freeports in the omegas at will. I dont understand why we still tolerate you lot in our worlds. All you cause is trouble. I say we kick them out of there own bases and let the junkers supply us with food.
Your time will come Zoners, when our Biodomes are completed, and food no longer a shortage...Best your watch your manners...
I have not seen one damn threat by any Zoner in this little diplomatic foray, Are you boys sure you're not dipping into the orange sauce your enemies love so much..?
I have seen chest thumping and obscene propositions (Sr. Gentle, ever here of Lorena Bobbit?), from the Corsairs, but that is only par for the course lately.
The Corsair concept of diplomacy is for the Zoner Council to kiss their hirsute behinds at the slightest provocation.
Well, I don't speak for the Council, but I do speak for the TAZ. We won't be puckering up any more, hermanos. Find someone else to kiss your behinds.
As of this moment, no TAZ vessel will enter, cross, violate, or even look crosswise at any Corsair space.
Oh, and my "funny Valentine", Vince?... get your food from the bloody Harvesters, for all I care. Probably more to your kinky tastes.
No my dear Mal, what we are expecting from the council is equality, and we are upset we are not getting that. The Bounty Hunters complain about being attacked in the Freeport zone and a Bounty is taken out against a Corsair in response. Elder Globalo is clearly attacked by Bounty Hunter ships staging from a Freeport as we discussed, and nothing, and in fact one of your people suggested Global was asking for it. We come to you to discuss why a ZONER transport was attempting to bring passengers to Crete, and we are told we dont understand diplomacy and the whole incident was our fault, or so your Ms. Fyre suggests. We are done looking for actual equality or neutrality from you Zoners, because we shall obviously never find it. I have gone so far as to chastise Corsair who attack our enemies in the Freeport zone, but I shall no longer, as I can clearly see that the same respect will not be shown to us. You harbor our enemies and allow them to attack us at will, you try to bring passengers to our hungry home, and now you refuse to even enforce your own rules? You can expect nothing but a cold shoulder from the Brotherhood at least, as I am also only a member of the Council and do not speak for it, but I can assure you, when it comes to the Corsair Council, I am one of the most sympathetic members to you and your Zoners, so I dont excpect Corsair space to be a safe place for Zoners for long.
