Good evening/morning/afternoon, folks. A couple hours ago we deployed a server-side hotfix to enable ammunition stacking through the autobuy plugin. As of right now, the following weapons will double their ammo capacity if you have two or more launchers equipped:
Bombers
Hellfire Rocket Pod
Gunboats
Harpoon Missile Launcher
Cruisers
Marauder Missile Launcher
Devastator Ion Torpedo Launcher
Trinity Triple Torpedo Launcher
Battlecruisers
Javelin Cruise Missile Launcher
Predator Missile Launcher
Battleships
Lightning EMP Missile Launcher
Reaper Missile Launcher
Hurricane Missile Launcher
The following weapons will have their ammunition stack proportionally to the number of guns/launchers mounted (eg. 4x ammo capacity if 4x launchers are equipped):
Bombers
Bomber Chaingun
Over the course of the next few patches, based on how each of these weapons performs with their new maximum ammo capacities, weapon balance may be tweaked. For now, happy incomingmissileINCOMINGMISSILEINCOMINGMISSILEINCOMINGMISSILE
Is there any chance for ammo stacking to be implemented with CMs, as well? It'd be neat to use the same CM type in all slots for ships that have more than one launcher.
Are there any plans to allow ammo stacking for Maxim Chainguns, for those who run dual-Maxims on SHFs?
