To: The leaders & commanders of Le Conseil Gaulois de Liberté et d'Unité Nationale
Bonjour à vous, alliés estimés
It has come to our attention that the Gallic Royal Navy has decided to make moves in the Edinburgh system and set up a rather large installation in that system that bears a striking similarity to a dry-dock. Preliminary data isn't sufficient at this time to conclusively state one way or another what it is, what we do know however is that it cannot remain in that system unchallenged. The Service was recently contacted by the Gaian's on the matter, unsurprisingly they are not happy about the installation being in that system anymore than we are.
As such, I propose a combined strike, pilots from the SIS, Council, SCRA and the Gaian movement working to dislodge or (at very least) hinder the operation of the Royal Navy in that region. I would like to know your thoughts on the matter, if you are interested in participating and if you would consent to the participation of the Natio Octavarium or anyone else.

Sir Weber,
We can confirm the existence of Issoudun Drydock, an installation built by the Royal Navy as a forward operations post et on-field repair facility. The visual footages we've collected months ago about it as well as the nearby royalist forces are attached at the end of this transmission, though I reckon another look at it is due by now. We of course intend to aid Bretonia in an operation against Issoudun.
I'm not sure how much influence does the SCRA or the Natio Octavarium have in this region, but for us they are welcome to join in on our side, as are the Gaians. Any et all help could come in handy against the GRN, because of which I also recommend contacting the Crayter Republic for assistance.
Sincèrement,
Général Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil

Your support would be most welcome, the other parties involved have expressed concern at countering the battleships that the Royal Navy is likely to deploy, with you on board, those concerns should lessen considerably. The Crayterians have been considered, yet we feel that their influence in this region and their ability to provide support is weak and as such no moves have been made to contact them, however I will bring the matter up and we may very well reconsider.

Sir Weber,
I have to bring alarming news: our recent scouting on the system revealed that Issoudun is defended heavily. Several cruisers, battlecruisers et at least two of the Valor-class.
Among the royalst warships there is one of utmost importance to The Council, the RNS Vauqueline Royale, Valor-class Battleship. It is suspected that potential defectors are on board the ship, which is why The Council aims rather for its reclamation than its destruction. Should we encounter the ship, I would like to request the same from all of our allies: prioritize the incapacitation of the vessel over its utmost destruction. Should we succeed, both the ship et the crew would become useful assets in our further efforts against the Gallic Crown.
Sincèrement,

Sir Weber,
It seems fate has given me the role of the bringer of bad news. Interstellar rearrangements provided us with an opportunity of a sudden surprise strike on Issoudun, which we took et failed. Now the Royal Navy is on our tails. Perhaps if it also means enough forces were drawn away from the drydock to leave it as vulnerable as we thought it was, that might not be that bad news for you, more like another opportunity to strike. What do you think, Sir Weber?
