Honored representatives of the Bretonian government,
I come to you with a rather unfortunate set of news and an important warning. As you may or may not know, the Republic of Liberty has, without any reason, started to reinterpret the Treaty of Curacao and has started to enforce a quasi-embargo on our ships. This embargo covers even civilian trade vessels. With this treacherous act, the Republic of Liberty has started to ignore and actively endanger the previous cooperation in civilian and military matters that has been beneficial to all of us, Bretonians, Libertonians and Crayterians in these times of war and hardship.
Due to this action, which has been predominantly started and carried out with the destruction of two unarmed Crayter transport vessels by the Liberty Security Force, the Crayter Republic has been cut off from a number of profitable trade options, leaving us no choice, but to prioritize our activities.
For the near future and until this embargo has been lifted, we are forced to concentrate our military actions on the Tau sector and Coronado and will certainly not use our sparse ressources to aid the treacherous Republic of Liberty. Please be assured that we will still attempt to aid our true allies wherever possible, but might not be able to do this in the same intensity as we did in the past.
This could change if the Kingdom of Bretonia would be willed to aid us in the removal of this embargo and the restoration of the Treaty of Curacao, so that the previous status-quo of mutual assistance and free trade could be restored as soon as possible. Should this not be possible, we advise the government of the Kingdom of Bretonia to proceed very carefully when dealing with the Republic of Liberty, to prevent the same from happening to you and your citizens.
Before this government does anything, we would very much like to know exactly what you are accusing the Liberty Government of (along with the appropriate corresponding evidence) and what it is you would like this Government to do about it.
We trust you understand that the Laws of Liberty are not our concern if they are enforced within the Republics space.

Mr. East,
we have sent this message as your allies, who deemed it necessary to inform you that they will not be able to aid your fight against the Gallic forces in the way we used to do. A fact that is based on the actions of the Republic of Liberty and their complete disregard of the Treaty of Curacao especially its aspects regarding the ensurance of free trade between all our nations.
We also deemed it necessary to inform you that Liberty might do the same to you, without any justification or warning. I have attached the previous attempts of communication to find a solution with Liberty. Neither of them was successful, nor did we have the feeling that Liberty even tried to consider the problems their, in our eyes criminal, reinterpretation of laws and actions have caused. Problems that do not only affect us, but also our allies we attempt to aid in their struggles.
What we would like to ask from the Bretonian government is an attempt to aid us in the restoration of the Treaty of Curacao, so that we will be able to continue our military assistance against the Gallics in the way we did before. As mentioned previously, all of our own attemps have been met with ignorance or outright hostility by the Libertonians.
The reports you have sent us have been looked over and it seems to be a case of miscommunication more than anything else. If you are seeking to repair the relationship between the Republic of Liberty and the Crayterian Republic, the Crown would be happy to assist in this matter. As members of NATO and as join signatories of the Treaty of Curacao it would be in the best interest for all involved if this matter was settled as quickly and as painlessly as possible.
If, however, you are asking the Crown to summon the Libertonian Ambassador and request and explanation as to the events you have described, I am afraid we must decline. As mentioned, the Crown has no interest in what the Republic does inside its own borders.

Mr. East,
we would merely have asked for your assistance in restoring the relations, that have been the reason for the success of the Treaty of Curacao. However, it appears as if the Libertonian Government has understood their mistake and has offered a solution to restore said relations.
Let me thank you for offering your assistance in this matter.
