1) Sci data is not money sink
2) Kinetics are borderline broken op and cant be dodged unless the lag gods are on your side + the insane spamming capabilites ( i own a pair of kinetics myself)
3) the current battleship weapons could be used to make insanely fun and dynamic fleet fights but the admins have locked it behind a scidata paywall at exorbitant prices.
i've invested over 5 billion on a pair of kinetics and discovered how good they're,Kinetics can make kirks easily win against valor in a same skill battle, its essentially pay to win keeping them behind a scidata paywall.
JH Generators parts are still the most useless, uninteresting commodity in the community and no one is willing to even bother use it because of the "we roll a dice on where the JH ends and no you cant make any events with it"
please sell the guns on conn or make scidata available through a admin pob, thanks.
i had an idea, you could make these weapons drop through missions but have a health bar( the gun slowly deteriorates health and then vanishes over time). The only way to bring them back is through missions.
And what kind of price would you put on these OP devices that you want them sold in Conn?
I have spent, over the last 2 weekends, 14:06:28 time spent in Game, all around Sirius, selling SD. I must admit I have spent 90% of that time twiddling my thumbs.
Maybe worth logging in, heaven forbid, and looking around.
I do even hear that it has been mentioned in some Discord Chats.
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person

Thanks, it brings me joy that "devs/admins" are intentionally blocking, reducing the skill gap of battleship combat because they still wont accept scidata implementation is not fair to everyone, kudos for that.

100 million to 500 million, you know a reasonable price that can be grinded within a week, i mention week because not everyone can log 100 hours just so they can buy one kinetic and then roam around another 30 hours, that is if people actually sell them scidata first.

There where several issues with scidata events- winners getting picked randomly, battleships doing the most of the damage but snubs coming in and looting them
2) admins/devs/whoeverimplementedthis still not willing to accept that its not a money sink and the money is infact still in the economy (i'll give you a thumbs up , if, after you sell the scidata and recieve the cash, you delete the ship, you didnt delete it did you ??, right thought so. The cash still remains in the economy.)

Oh wait, you didnt mention that you where selling the scidata for 5 million a unit, it sounded like you where giving them away for practically free.
Lets calculate, the costliest thing in game is a cau8 - 895 million, for an average player this takes around 2~3 weeks of grinding, and lets mention that everyone has a fair chance of acquiring it - through an npc.
And lets not forget the fact that people where okay with cap combat before scidata was introduced, now they're not, not only when ... .you know what halfway through the writing this i cant even be bothered anymore because the devs and admins are too stubborn to listen to the community anyway.
Titan never made these guns to be behind dev controlled "SPIN THE WHEEL GENERATOR101" but thanks for making it so and in the process absolutely destroy cap combat. you could've also not introduce the guns at all and everything would've been fine.
The game should be a fair race and the guns should be acquirable through npcs, asking a player to grind more than 100 hours just so he can win back the skill gap that got closed due to someone who by random luck stumbled into a base or the admins selecting him for loot, i'm pretty sure any mechanic that relies on chance and is gambling, isnt gambling banned for people <18 ?

Money-sink (also known as a "gold sink") is a term used to denote a game mechanic that helps to control the inflation rate and in-game economy. Without various money-sinks, the developers would have no viable means of introducing money into, or removing excess coin from, the game's economy.
I'm pretty sure you dont even know what money sink is so i've carefully picked out the meaning from google, please read, thanks.
oh boi, i was very joyfull to the experience that everytime i logged in and painstakingly shot a stupid npc carrier someone was randomly picked and rewarded for it, it was a very great experience i must say.

You don't really know what grind really means, do you? If you want the real definition of grind, check on Elite Dangerous in where every single dumb decision has very severe consequences that can backtrack you many hours back.
Discovery is pretty much your carefree sunday picnic compared to that.
