Director,
The image in the files below was taken by none other than myself just today. I can only imagine the EFL will surely enjoy a long term investment in Rheinland, eventually leading to an entire sugar-coated "purchase" of the state. Unfortunately this doesn't quite mix well with your very new and real situation.
Perhaps it's time you considered investing in a more serious trade embargo, unless you'd rather enjoy investing in Gallia indirectly.
I can understand if you neglect to accept the reality, I'll be waiting. *Chuckling as the comm line cuts.*

As I am sure you are aware by now, the SIS cannot influence trade. That power lies with the Government alone, however, that does not mean we are happy with this turn of events and I thank you for telling me about it.
Naturally whatever business the Rheinland Government has with Gallia cannot happen without some sort of a challenge yet Bretonia is in no position to do anything about it, but you are. You have your own plans for Rheinland, I appreciate that, yet this arrangement cannot benefit the RHA all that much either. If you target ships using the new Gallic lanes (Of any house or organisation) I'd be happy to compensate you for your efforts.
Incidentally, your letter has arrived at a most opportune time, recently the Unioner movement sent a letter to the Natio Octaverium who forwarded it to us. This documentation is rather long and somewhat difficult to read but apparently a jump anomaly has been discovered with backdoor access between Rheinland and Gallia. Would you know anything about this by chance?
Please let me know if there is anything else you wish to speak about.

Is that so?
The Government is looking to you and the Armed forces now more than ever to ensure it's wishes become a reality. From what I hear you have intentions of desperately clinging to an entire planet that - until recently - was a very well recognized independent establishment with several acts and time-stamped negotiations to ensure something of this magnitude would not occur.
It's quite interesting to see how all our true colors show in times of need.
Behind this little lecture is the obvious message and conclusion that if the Government is looking towards you and the Armed Forces to pillage Zoners for their land now, how long do you think it will be before they look to you even further for other expertise? Unless of course, your corporate strongholds haven't all been destroyed by the Gallic Navy, and they still hold a reasonable influence over this area. I think you'll have to come to terms with the reality soon Director, and that is - either Martial law, or you running every aspect of the Nation directly in parallel with the Armed forces.
I'm speaking to you now because I believe when the time comes, I will need to speak to you regardless.
As for the matter of action against Gallia's corporate strongholds in Rheinland, that would depend on how lucrative the funding is, and if I deem it worthwhile in comparison to a much larger agenda. Furthermore, in regards to this "backdoor" system, I am already more than aware. The link lies in Southern Rheinland, nothing in that region is out of my reach.
On an end note, while your act of desperation to annex Gran Canaria is nothing short of greed, the responsibility to act on the situation falls on others besides myself. But do be warned, appeasement for the Kingdom will end there and then. Any other act that remotely resembles what is occurring that might take place deeper in the Omegas - will be met with a very different response. You may have no power over this at the moment, so it may be in the best interest of your house to keep me informed- beforehand.

I am not in the business of wasting my time my dear. I would not have gone to all this trouble to arrange for the RHA to be allowed entry into Bretonia only to betray you and your kin when it suited me, that would have been more effort for very little gain indeed. Naturally, people in our positions would be more inclined to disregard such a statement as nothing more than honeyed words, but I suspect you know better than that. I have little interest in fighting you or your kin, especially when I can see the benefits of the current arrangement.
While you may be alarmed, shall we say, at the recent advance into the Omega-49 system, you shouldn't be. As far as I am aware, few Hessians live planet side and the RHA, to my knowledge, is not interested in the system. If I am mistaken, then I apologise for not informing you sooner, yet then again, it was a secret that few even in the Bretonian Government were aware of until just a few days before the order was given. As such, telling you about it before hand had risks I was not prepared to take. While you may not appreciate this turn of events I can assure you that the RHA is in no danger of being attacked by whatever forces are in Omega-49, our business lies with the Zoners and the Zoners alone, and even then, we'd rather proceed with as little damage as possible. If something does happen in the deeper Omegas, I will find someway of contacting you first. With that said, the message applies both ways General.
As for Gallia, I find it in your best interests to combat the Gallic Corporations, they are no more innocent than the Rheinland ones after all. You speak of a price, I ask you to name it, I have little time for guessing games. Likewise, the price for information regarding this 'Backdoor' into Gallia I desire to know also.

I don't think so,
I think you'll find that Gran Canaria houses a very wide variety of people, including a very small number of my own, I think you'll also find the resolve of those who are "sworn" to protect it and it's people overshadow yours by a substantial amount. Lucky for you, I don't fall under this category, but I'd begin to hope the situation doesn't degrade into me being forced to choose a side.
What could I wish for in return for helping you cripple the Gallic war machine in Rheinland? Well the answer is simple, more endorsements, more formal trade. Eventually, when EFL and IDF have completely purchased everything, I don't think I'd need to ask that you cease cooperation with the already prominent hive of corruption. Their money will soon be Gallia's afterall.

I do not know what would constitute your involvement, rest assured however that we do not expect the question of Omega-49 to be any great threat or problem to the Hessians, If you have a specific problem or concern regarding what happens to that system, I'd ask you speak of it.
The Government is making arrangements to allow your transports into Bretonia as we speak and I believe Gateway has a vested interest in trading within the Omegas as well. We would appreciate it if their ships be allowed access to your own bases in the mid to near future, if all goes well.
I required your approval for something. One of our agreements that was made quite some time ago was that none of our vessels would traverse the Omegas without your prior approval. I am, in good faith, seeking that approval now as we have business in the tail end of the Omicrons, some of our friends have requested we attend an operation they are running, due to them simply not being able to understand what it is they have found, they have requested we show up. Partly, I suspect, to also further their relationship with us.
The details are, I suspect, of little interest to you. However I am asking that the Service be allowed to travel from Bretonia to the Omicron Theta system safely.

Director,
The details are in fact of great interest to me among many other things. Following a nuclear explosion near a civilian settlement, a battle-group closing in on the aforementioned settlement - now you've decided to come before me with interest of traversing the Omegas. I'm not entirely inclined to believe you at the moment, so it may be in your best interest to specify exactly why it is you need to traverse my territory to get to the Omicrons. Granted if I do allow it, you'll find it's temporary access at best.

As mentioned, the purpose of this trip is to investigate something our friends have found, we don't know what it is, furthermore it is likely that this is mainly an attempt to further their relationship with us. I do not ask for permanent access, this is expected to only be a one off. Although if it does turn into something more, you will of course be informed. The exact reason we wish to use the Omega corridor is because it allows us the most direct route.

Director,
Any vessels found beside your own in Omega-5 will be killed. You'll be granted temporary access for transit only. Carrying any contraband through the territories will have you stopped along the path. I'll expect something in return, but that's only if your pilots follow through with my permission.
The transit route will take you through Omega-5 and into Omega-41, you will not be permitted elsewhere in our territory.
