Subject: An Open Letter to the Bretonian People
To all my fellow Citizens of Bretonia,
My name is Rupert Davies. I was born twenty-four years ago in the City of Beeston, on Planet Leeds. Before the Gallic liberation of Leeds, I, like every member of my family for the last hundred years, was a laborer in the employ of BMM. At least the Company called us employees. Slaves would be the more accurate term. The Company owned everything. Company housing, company food, company tools, and so on. They expected us to pay for these things, which would be reasonable if the costs weren't higher than the wages. In short, we were kept in a state of perpetual, crushing debt until our dying day. Which came far sooner than the Bretonian average. My father died at 52 due to long-term exposure to the toxic environment on Leeds, and he was hardly unique. The sealed apartment blocks that BMM was so proud of were limited to the more well-to-do. The rest of us had to make do with dirty air, contaminated water, and shortened lifespans.
That all ended the day that the Gallic military arrived. Gone was my endless debt to the Company. We began to recieve better food, clean water, and proper filtration systems for our homes. No more are we slaves to a company that uses us, then discards us when our health finally begins to fail. No more are we subject to the rule of a distant nobility, interested only in their own wealth and power, heedless of the good of their own subjects. Has everyone forgotten ten years ago, when Queen Carina sent troops into the House of Commons, dissolving the populist party by force, solely for wanting a voice for the common Bretonian in the halls of power? Such a naked grab for power went completely unopposed, even by so-called Progressive Royalists.
I, for one, cannot forgive these criminals who would call themselves our leaders. I am proud to stand with our Gallic brothers and sisters as they fight to liberate Bretonia from the dictatorial blight that has beset it. I ask, as a Free Bretonian, that you stand with me as we march on New London, and help retake our nation in the name of it's people.

Do not believe this person, who toyed with me like a damn doll! For a whole month, he kept me in a cold and dark room. He fed me only with bread and unclean water. Every day, he beaten, raped, and beaten me again and again. Thanks to my brother and his friend Jonathan, I was saved. We finally left Leeds where the Gauls don't arrest him, just because he's helping them against the Resistance.
I was your neighbor in Beeston. I doubt your memories are workin' well about those times. Yes, air was dirty outside, but for some reason, all the apartments had scrubbers, and clean water, 'cept yours. Or maybe it was because your flat always smelled like synth weed, and cheap gin? Do your sweet Gallia knows, that you robbed stores, and stole cars? Or that time, when you were vanished, three weeks before the occupation? Because I remember. I thought you hopped on a transport to... well, anywhere. I was busy packing with my family too.
I did not expect the police knockin' on my door that day. They were looking for you, and I thought you just stole something to pay your pass offworld. And now comes the real question: Do your beloved Gallia knows, that you murdered your family? If any of your beloved superiors want to ask questions about this, I'll happily answer them. I live on Baden-baden now, so they won't be shot for trying to doing so.

They just want to weak you, just make you unable to rebel against your new "leaders" who doesn't know anything about work if they allow you to make and have those useless things! I know Leeds more than you and your new leaders put togheter so trust me; you shouldn't be happy for that!
