As there seems to be little initiative here, I've gone ahead and translated one of the listed files myself. File #002 appears to be the first, chronologically speaking, in the database, so we can assume that they arent in proper order. Hopefully a glimpse into the translated file will encourage others to participate. I, however, need to get back to the excavation, we're finding more relics in the manufacturing facility that bear further study.

We've begun the translation of File #005, and we expect it to be fully translated in the next few days. The first piece looks promising. Are there freely available documents, databases, or any info we could use to know more about Nauru ? Or are they all classified ?

I have finished transcribing the bits of data we downloaded from your database. The key you provided proved to be very useful and efficient. I am hypothesizing that this is one of the last messages out of the 10 you have uncovered so far, unless this civilization found a way to escape or to hide, though I highly doubt it as they mentioned being far less advanced than their invaders in the second message.
I am sending you the file, you should receive it right away. I'd be glad to assist your team with another file, even if Mr Storks aboard our ship says it draws too much of my attention out of our never-ending survey work.
The Aliens must deem us a threat to ourselves and them. They have sent large, round machines into our skies. The machines gather storms, larger than any city, and spread poison across our world. It becomes harder to breathe.

The list of translations has been updated with your contribution, Ms. Gridley, I appreciate the help. If you'd like to take a crack at another one of the files, please, let us know, there are few individuals in Sirius who seem to be qualified and interested in partaking in this project.
Your translated file seems to describe a media file we found in the database. It took us quite some time, and the aid of certain specialists, to decrypt; but it is a terrifying visage indeed:

Our AI units were already deployed for other tasks so we had to do the translation by hand. We have only recently finished translating the text from File #001. One of the specialists I had working on the file refused to continue after one of the sections she had. I don't blame her, One part she had turned out to be a bit... graphic for the imagination considering what has already been seen so far of what may have happened. Afterwards, the rest was finished up by the other specialist assigned to this task.

I think the result of the translation of the third file will surprise you as much as it surprised me. The Naurians apparently started developing a super wepon against their Invaders. Given the few bits of info I have available, I considered the Naurians to be a pacific civilisation, without the needs for armament. It seems they were advanced enough to try and develop these kinds of weapons.
I'll probably begin another file tomorrow.
The aliens that have come to our world have alarmed our government. Creatures intend to attack us, or take our resources, and so far our factories have begun developing a great weapon to defend us against ships from the skies. It shall be ready soon, they will test the weapon tomorrow.
