Bonjour Monsieur Nivaggioni,
Been quite some time since we’ve talked, no? I’m not one for conversation via messages so I’ll keep this brief.
I must be frank here, Unione Corse has seen better days. We have been sitting on our laurels for too long. As much as we value isolation from the Sirian underworld, its a situation that won’t last forever. We can either remain as we are and drown under the tidal wave of Sirian scum encroaching on Gallic turf, Corsican turf. Or we can be proactive and not only stem said tide, but harness it and grow the Unione Corse to heights it has never seen before.
As for how, the Union Corse will no doubt need to shed quite a lot of her fat. Such a thing you have been attempting to do for years. However something recently has reached my ears that could catalyze such a change. The exact details I would be more comfortable discussing in person. Might I recommend Canebière down here on Marseille?

Transmission begins. Nivaggioni lounges in a wicker chair, outdoors.
Chère Orsula,
It has been some time, clearly. You've aged... Quite well, I must say. He smirks.
Your message brings me great joy. As you know, I've laboured precisely to accomplish what you describe. Like you, I lament what has become of us... Or rather, what has failed to become of us, and of what could have been a golden age. To share this belief with you is soothing. I've long said so ; it'd only take someone with energy and audacity to lead us into success and unlimited wealth again. I thought I could be this someone...
Anyhow, enough about me, oui ? I am naturally very intrigued by this information you mentioned. I may be past my prime, but I could never turn my back on opportunity. I'll make my way to the Canebière shortly ; I needed to get out of this villa anyway. See you there.
Nivaggioni grins, and the transmission fades on his usual half-smile.
