It was most certainly a surprise to the people guarding the building where Amiral Isabelle Montlaville de Chanteloup was said to have her head quarters that a sirian woman showed up. It took her two days to convince the other men to tell her where to find her, or where it was most likely to find her, just to have her stand infront of the guards, who were upholding the CORE GALLIC VALUES when not allowing a sirian woman to just make any step further. A simple woman was not to bother the amiral!
It was no surprise to her, and so she handed a basket to these guardsmen. She instructed them to make sure the basket would end up on the Amiral's desk, unharmed. The men assured her that, after security checks, this could be done. And having no other choice than believing these gallic men, the sirian woman made her way back to the space port, and from there a shuttle launched to the mooring fixture. The sirian woman entered her Whale-class transport and then embarked to return to Sirius. She was expected to be celebrating christmas with the man she loved and a family of thirty crew members.
The security team was extremely suspicious about the basket and the contents, but eventually it was decided that everything was alright. And eventually, the basket ended up on the Amiral's table. There was a thick card with white letters on a picture of a black cat in the background. Someone put much effort into it. Below the card, there were plenty of non-professionally designed cookies. Some had human shapes, some cat shapes, one had a fat belly and cape, another was weirdly detailed in terms of masculine body shapes and had a slightly oversized censor bar covering the slightly oversized male genitalia.
By the time the security checks were done, the Catport was already in Sirius.
