Good day. My name is Mark Luciano. For obvious reasons direct contact with Gallic Kingdom officials or similiar would raise a lot of brows around Liberty or even banish INL from its space as "self-made traitors", I decided to contact Gallic Embassy on New Berlin while being in Rheinland, as it would not be breaking any laws. Even though Gallia are formal enemies of Liberty, Independent News Liberty would make a few questions to see other side of war that had been raging for almost a decade.
I prepared set of questions, which you can read below. Save for two questions, I avoided asking these concerning on-going conflict between Liberty and your Kingdom.
1. Why, in the first place, Gallic Kingdom began the war? Most of Libertonians heard rumors only but no direct answer has been released to the public within the Republic.
2. How is daily life within Gallia? Due to obvious circumstances and limited access, very little is known about that aspect to the Libertonian citizens.
3. What changes would happen within Bretonia should the peace be brokered? The question is mostly about the civilians and possible post-war government.
4. May there be a peace between the King and The Council and possible co-existence as Constitutional Monarchy? Similiar government functioned in pre-war Kusari Empire, hence my question.
5. What are views of different Gallic social classes towards Liberty? This one is mostly about perception on citizens, not the government due to obvious on-going conflict.
6. What is line of succession and how Gallic court is created by different sovereigns of Gallia? You do not need to put up the names, just overall outline on how Gallic government works every day.
Your answers would be very helpful as basis for the Neural Net article about Kingdom of Gallia, released by INL. It shall serve educational purposes only, without prejudice or criticism towards your Kingdom. It may contain some governmental comparison to pre-war Bretonia, however be mindful that comparison will be on administrative level only in order to help Liberty citizens understand your government, as idea of monarchy is quite alien to us.

Bonjour,
To answer your questions, you must understand that we cannot provide the full answers you seek without going through the proper protocols for communication with civilians of a hostile state. Please be advised that answers you see here will not be exactly the same as answers you might see from inside Gallia.
The aggressors of this conflict are long dead, but your nation still flies their colors. In the last century of the Common Era, the 23rd century, your government may have you believe that only five sleeper ships were prepared to launch from Ganymede, to escape the War for Sol. In truth, eight sleeper ships were planned to journey to Sirius, to start anew in an untouched frontier.
During the evacuation, our sleeper ship, the ASF-Gallia, was sabotaged from the inside, after we had carefully checked for Coalition agents. Agents were later caught from the ASF-Liberty and ASF-Bretonia and interrogated, revealing that they had sabotaged our ship to allow theirs to escape faster, ensuring their survival against the Coalition Battlecruisers.
This sabotage was not only done with the Gallia, but also with two other sleeper ships, which were destroyed during the attempted escape, before they could even launch. As you might expect from a group of refugees who wanted so desperately to escape doom, being denied by those you called allies was a gut-wrenching feeling. We later managed to launch the ASF-Gallia from a different site, swearing revenge on those who left us to die.
Life in Gallia is quite peaceful and prosperous, especially with the monarch always having new projects for aspiring workers to complete. Unemployment and crime are stamped out wherever we can find it, so criminals are found in their pathetic asteroid bases, instead of near people's homes.
Unlike Liberty, we actively maintain mining within our own borders, and most of our supplies for the war effort were made in our borders. Much of the richer business revolves around our royal family, who approve of various business decisions which help motivate businessmen to serve the government, not the other way around.
However, working for the King or Queen is voluntary, as you can easily make a fortune running small business from a freighter, an oil refinery, or a farm, to name a few examples. It's just encouraged that you stay loyal to the crown, or you might find yourselves mixed up with the wrong types of people, like NOX dealers or Brigands.
Peace will only come when Bretonia submits to our righteous rule. After all, we aren't conniving backstabbers who pollute entire worlds and alienate our workforce. When we take over, we will most likely have our hands full repairing infrastructure and setting up a new government from scratch to better enforce our will over our new protectorate.
Civilians will notice quite a bit of change, as we will ensure Gallic standards and laws are upheld. Those who submit will find prosperity, and those that resist will be crushed. Serving us will require loyalty to the crown, but as the crown takes, it also gives back, bringing the customs and riches of Gallia to home for our new subjects. Overall, life will be better in the long run for Bretonia's populace, who've suffered for too long under the harsh conditions found in places like Leeds.
Unlike Kusari, whose government is considerably weaker than ours, we are not ones who will bend the knee to traitors. Our government is strong because a leader can make important decisions that relate to the times immediately, not having to wait for the bureaucracy to make a decision after arguing for ages. The Council will be defeated. It may take years, it may take decades, but their fate was sealed the moment they crossed the crown.
Let's start this with the most common class of people, the middle-class. They have family members and friends who fight in the war against Liberty, and on numerous occasions, have demonstrated their desire to see our enemies fall. For every one of us your leaders have killed, more will rise to take their place, as they are inspired to avenge their fallen friends, brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters.
The poorer classes seek to move to the worlds we conquer, in hopes that they can start anew and gain prosperity in Sirius. Plenty of them also have family members and friends in the war. The squalor they live in is only temporary, as they are the ones most likely to take the currently risky, but profitable jobs found at the war front for civilians and officers. Liberty is all to happy to end this chance, so the poor generally despise you for it.
The rich are perfectly content with the war, as many of them maintain business by producing war supplies or serving the crown. To change this by retreating would put many of them out of business and leave them as poor as a beggar, a reality they never want to face. Henceforth, the bourgeois have pledged their loyalty, and vow to do everything in their power to stop your government.
Sovereigns are chosen primarily through a bloodline. However, because there is only one royal family, ordinary citizens can marry into our most prestigious lineage to continue the generations of rulers our nation is lead by. The courts are often held by the most capable or loyal to the crown, often times forming legislative and judicial departments for local and state affairs. The crown appoints regional governors to oversee the different worlds we own through executive branches, and governors will likely be appointed for Bretonian worlds as we conquer them.
Hopefully that answers your questions, and we also hope that the peoples of Liberty and Bretonia find in this the reasons why we want to end their governments. We know that you most likely will not sympathize with our cause at first, due to your upbringings, but with a little encouragement from the Royal Navy, arguments can be ended rather quickly. In the meantime, safe travels, and may your stay in Rheinland be as enlightening as ours!
