Use plugged mouse. Press down fire button on it. Unplug the mouse. Enjoy state of pressed down button till you press it once more.

Press down right click, press alt tab, it'll keep firing and you can do whatever you want.

Some asshats decided to change how PoB hitpoints/siege mechanics work, and now even a core 1 takes forever to kill.
