So, I know I'm neither an official member of the Kusari Navy, nor the Rheinland Military, but I've noticed that there really hasn't been much fighting going on between these two, despite them being "at war".
I would like to arrange for those of us who feel like it, to log our kusari and rheinland ships to have a bit of a battle. We would fight three times, to give people in different time zones a chance at showing up. Indies are quite welcome; after all, I'm one. If the official factions would like to step forward and take control of this event, or just one of the battles, you are more than welcome to.

Kusari Navy players will start at Akita Border Station in Honshu, and Rheinland Military players will start at Konstanz Border Station in Frankfurt. They will charge at each other through Sigma-21 and Sigma-15, and meet up somewhere along the way. They will then fight for control of these systems.
Pilots who die early during this engagement can spice things up by mining Azurite and Iridium in Omicron Delta at a reduced price, bringing traders through the war-filled systems. Whoever controls these systems will have their house's traders taking advantage of the mining operation. Kusari and Rheinland unlawfuls would also be welcome, taking whatever role they please in this event.
Please post below if you plan on participating in this event, and mention which side you'll be on. You can say "either", if you plan to be a balancing participant who could enter on either side. If you want to participate, and just need a ship, I am willing to set up a ship for you, with armor and good equipment. Fighters and Freighters are free. Bombers and SHFs will cost $20 million. Gunboats will cost $40-50 million.
I would like to suggest that people buy their Omicron Rho Trade Visas if they plan on hauling through Rho and Delta after this event is concluded. I've worked something out with the Core| to allow the moving of Azurite and Iridium only for the duration of the event. When it concludes, you will need to buy Visas to go through Omicron Rho, and Azurite will go back to being illegal to transport for civilians.
Please don't log 20 unrelated faction bombers just to ruin this. I know it's not an official event, and to you I'm not a special person, but I'm just trying to spice things up, okay? If you just want a good Pew, and aren't interested in RP, why not show up as a relevant character and enhance the experience for everyone along the way?
If this event goes well, I'm willing to work together with official faction members to help them create official RP posts regarding this event.
P.S. -- I know I'm not one to launch an offensive. That's why I haven't made an RP post regarding this -- Who would I be to command the navies into war? The leaders of the official factions can take the official credit for launching these offensives.
As per discord, you have requested some support from Core| regarding this event and we are willing to make the below changes to help you get things kicked off.
Temporary changes to Core| Law during the 2 days this event runs for.
Rho Visas will not be in effect, meaning you won't need one to traverse Rho.
Traders will be allowed within the Azurite field provided they are purchasing azurite from a Core or IRG| player.
Azurite purchased from a Core player won't be seen as contraband in the local systems.
Things to note:
If the event is extended, these alterations are not.
Factions that are hostile to the Core will still be attacked as and when our ID allows it.
If I can I'll be there mining azurite for traders on my core| miner. However, I would like to suggest changing the dates for this event: Setting events to occur during the weekday is a bad idea. Most of us work, regardless of timezone, and are unable to participate in weekday events. Move it to the weekend and you'll have more people willing to participate.
Typically its also better to give at least a week's notice for things like this. I believe there are other events running this weekend that will be taking our time up.
EDIT:
Also, I thought it was more the GMG that were at war with rheinland, rather than actual kusari?
I didn't want these events to conflict with other events.
Also, as these are indie events, we don't necessarily need to have 50 people showing up for the battles. I'll be satisfied if 8 players show up; 4 per side.
Oh cool, sorry for the late jumping in: holydays been busy, ill try kick som RM asses in, ill be on either side that need numbers but prefer (obviously) being at RM
EDIT: At such time i would be able to log for pews basicly everyday, hope enough ppl show, we could set a "late hours Krieg"
