Buenos Dias, Hermano. Forgive me if I am interrupting any of your work
I have recently come into possession of a set of blueprints for some sort of unique engine, one not currently in circulation. It does not appear to be a prototype, as its power output statistics are very well documented. I will run through the database to see whether this is due to any of Sirius's many factions using this.
Interestingly, however, running diagnostics in juxtaposition to the standard issue engines of our very own M10 Fighter reveals that its overall efficiency appears to have a noticeable advantage. Power core usage appears to be reduced by 1.007%, while the thrust-to-weight ratio calculations reveal the engine to have a 0.003% higher Δv output than the stock engine.
While those numbers may seem miniscule, the difference can mean everything when put into practice. However, the troubling part is in the assembly. The engine requires parts that are somewhat of a rarity within the Omicrons. Here are a few, to name.
1 CC-207 XL Radiation Cap
1 M-31 Modular Engine Block (Note: This specific part has been banned from circulation since 815. We may have to get our hands dirty for this.)
16 total I-883 Heavy-duty Exhaust Vents
And a hell of a lot of R-60 Thermal Containment Plates
If you could help me retrieve these parts, I would be grateful. Of course, while I am confident in my engineering abilities, I will also need a dedicated workshop to apply this device to one of our own vessels, namely my own M10. I am hereby requesting the use of the maintenance bay within our faction's Bustard-class carrier, which if I remember correctly is under your command.
I will make sure that all expenses due to parts procurement and/or nuclear explosions within your vessel will be compensated. You won't lose a credit.
To make it clear, my intent for this venture is not out of self-interest, Hermano. I will be field-testing this new engine to assess whether it could possibly act as a suitable replacement for our current surplus. I pray you will consider this request, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Senor Aguilar,
Those numbers are indeed fascinating.
Would be nice if you could share those BluePrints with me aswell, and shall see if those are known by anybody.
As for the parts, they should be easy to find or if needed even build them, if of course we are already in possession of any of the parts.
I also authorize you to come on the Sarmiento and start working on those engines as you like. My engineering team will be assisting you in order to speed up the process.
One thing, since this project will be used for Apostatas knowledge, the expenses will be covered by myself.
For anything else, we'll have time to chat when you come on board.
Blancos out.
