Sender: Capitaine de Corvette Pierre Vaillant Recipient: Captain of the Roosevelt Sujet: Explain your story.
Bonjour Capitaine,
I am sure you will remember me. I am the Capitaine Pierre Vaillant. We met yesterday in New London and we couldn't talk due to the Bretonians sauvages.
Your case surprised many of ours, Captain. You wanted to explain your story in details so I thought this would help. Explain everything. Explain how you came to open fire on even your old friends.
You must know that the Bretonians and then Liberty are certainly aware of your betrayal. If you can provide details and some...compensations, we can maybe offer you a safe place somewhere.

Good day Pierre,
Yes I do remember you very well, and asked me to tell you why I opened fire, upon my former allies. I am here to answer you that, even though it's a bit of a longer story.
It first began when we were assigned on deep-recon in the Omicrons aboard a smaller vessel, the Steelhead, a Defiant-class gunboat. We stayed in there for some time, and after we returned we came back aboard the previously known as the LSFC-Doomsday and were sent on a trip to the Taus to do research and occasionally, if possible, see what Gallia was doing in there, but I had a feeling something was wrong, that something, or someone, was missing on our way back, and I was right and about to find out later who. One engineer that attended one of the crew meetings was missing, and told the officials what happened in the Omicrons and what I've told to my crew. A good friend informed me of that, and shortly after I knew I had to take my crew with me as well, since I couldn't just let them behind after everything we've been through so far. There was no other ship available to carry all of them, so we all came to agree with the choice to get aboard the Doomsday once more, and escape from Liberty safely.
We took up residence within the Omegas, mainly Omega-49. We studied some of the protoplanets from within Omega-2 along with some anomalies and Omega-41's Neutron Star. About a week later, I was on my personal bomber, sitting in Canaria's orbit when a Coalition Typhoon appeared in front of me, and tried to detain me to the Bretonian government, but luckily for me I managed to successfully cloak away and run, later returning aboard my warship and fled once again, taking up residence in the Sigmas. We found an abandoned station within that region that was already pressurized from before, and decided to make it our own base. It's laboratories are working but we have to access the mainframe first to get access to the other sections, we're currently on it.
Right now, we occasionally go away from the Sigmas to take peeks around Sirius to see what's happening and stay vigiilent, to keep us safe and sound. It's not that easy to hide when two Houses are after you. I was forced to fire upon the Bretonian vessels, so I can keep myself and my crew safe. I didn't want to betray them, but I am now forced to shoot and do whatever is necessary to keep us alive, and not in Liberty's hands.
I suppose I provided you enough details, and about the compensations, well, I don't know them yet so I can't help you with that. Let us know and we'll do our best. We appreciate you letting us stay around you.
Regards, captain Alexander Daniels.

Bonjour Capitaine,
Sorry for the delay, I have received your message. What an interesting story! I couldn't imagine that Liberty would send exciting missions to their officers. They should enjoy them because soon...
But whatever. You provided indeed enough details to have the outline of the matter. I'm wondering how you did to find a base in the Sigmas for yourself. Our knowledge about this area is pretty limited.
I do have good news for you. As you wanted to help us against our enemies and by your own volunty, the Crown will reward this. Henceforth you have a complete protection within the Bretonian sector. Our forces will provide you the firepower if you need some to travel safely. Aswell if you decide to leave your base within the Sigmas to come over here, we will be glad to find another one.
You have to understand this a great opportunity. As you come from the intelligence services of Liberty it will be interesting to gather some informations about what you can give to us. Complete maps of Liberty, particular informations... are valuable resources. And another advantage.
Liberty will try to find you. Same for the Bretonians. Space is dangerous. But you have some friends now.

Hello again Pierre,
Those are some good news to cheer ourselves up. Me and my crew are very thankful for you offering us your help, we greatly appreciate it. As for the data regarding Liberty, I am sure I still have some good and valuable parts of it.
Well, the base in the Sigmas wasn't originally found by me. A very dear person showed it to me and I decided to use it for me and my crew's benefits, yet we won't stay always around there or around your space of course, but I am sure things will work out well in the end. Again, we appreciate your help.
Regards, captain Alexander Daniels.

Bonjour Capitaine,
I am glad to hear that. Take your time for the datas, that's not urgent yet. Liberty have fallen in the despair and the paranoia. You did well to leave and you can only note that that is all true.
The Crown isn't cruel, or completely blinded by a great hate. We are ready to help any Sirians who deserve it. I am sure we will meet in space again. Until then, good luck.
