Vessel Systems
Module Sections
The Vatan sports six modular systems, though two are almost always taken up by scanning systems and basic computing servers. The third module is currently empty, used as storage for now. Module four and five is taken up by a creeping growth of a form of bio-matter. The sixth is a jump drive, though not the best quality.
Power Engines
The four standard cores of this Pious-class Obstinate are heavily modified allowing a mix of power sources. The first and second cores are near-standard Prometheum-Oil reactors. The third and forth appear to have been overgrown with bio-mass. Unlike the bio-mass seen throughout other parts of the ship, the creep here glows with light, brightest around where the cores once were. Cables, pipes, and connectors made of some hard and dense material connects the radiating bio-mass to the Obstinate's power systems, seemingly making a conversation.
Bridge
The bridge, found towards the top of the vessel, displays the most amount of bio-mass buildup. While a few control stations remain mostly untouched, a large portion is covered with odd organic growth, most sporting tendrils or what can only be described as translucent spikes. In the few untouched stations one may see husky, bloated humanoid figures working away mechanically at whatever task they may be doing.
Living Quarters
The area designated for crew, passengers, and recreation appears to be standard at first until one notices the distinct high quality. Being designed for a high profile command ship and requiring the transportation of nobility or other important Gallic people, the design and flourish is almost insulting to the eyes. Soft fabrics banners mask the walls, imported wood is used in place of some non-important tables and containers. Sleeping quarters have posh, high-rise beds and marbled flooring. Going along with the overdone design, this section even has it's own mini-bar and lounge, though the size is compact.
Exterior
The Obstinate's hull is difficult to see due to a haze surrounding the vessel. At first, it looks like the Vatan is surrounded by a gas cloud that clings to it as if by some gravitational well. On closer inspection the gaseous plumes appear to be natural with swarming alien organisms dashing around. On the hull itself, translucent tendrils spread outwards like antennae with spotted growths of biomass at random intervals. If one is ever able to observe the sight, the cloud surrounding the ship moves inwards towards the hull. As it does so, the cloud and vessel begins to fade from sight until it vanishes, either having moved locations or using some unknown cloak.
