Quote:4.3 Docking during combat with hostiles in docking message range (15k) counts as PvP Death, except for transports. If a player combat docks in a transport they may remain in the system for the sole purpose of trading only. They may not attack anyone unless in self defense. This restriction lasts for one hour.
Consequences:
The enemy saw you docking, which means you are considered pvp dead. Yet, you have decided to return to the fight shortly after. Do not do that. Guns removed, sanction notice in hold.
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of GM Right #CTE 750AE
I have no proof someone saw me docking, but If someone did indeed see me docking it wasn't to my knowledge. I've only returned from combat dead once and I havn't done it since. Apoligies for the rule breaking. Unless you are referring to a fight where I needed a restock and disengaged for 10 minutes before docking. In which case i'll simply leave the system next time. It was not my intention to break server roleplay rules out of spite or excessive amounts of salt. And I will continue to abide by the server's roleplay rules while I am in it. Let me know what you would like me to do to either lift this sanction or resolve the issue. Thank you.
It's best to be careful because docking messages are visible in the area of 15k. If it is absolutely necessary for you to dock mid-fight and return to the battle afterwards, it's best to do it on a base that's not in immediate are of engagement, but +20k (or one lane) further. That way you're absolutely certain there's no one around and you are not considered pvp-dead per combat docking. If you do dock within 15k of enemies, and they see you, well, it's best to take a one hour break. Especially when enemy tells you to do so.
I hope this will serve as a valuable lesson and this won't happen again.
