799 A.S. , Planet Cambridge, Cambridge system. 799 A.S. day of when I was born. My parents told me it was a sunny day of spring on Planet Cambridge. An amazing day they described it to me. I'm their only son so I guess it's normal for people to tent to overcompensate something like this. At least I've been feeling loved and supported since I was only 1 day old.
They also told me the story how they named me: basically they just put some names in a big bowl, and extracted it. I guess fate wanted me to be named like this.
They always thought of me as a blessing,as someone to pass their legacy.
My father was an lawyer at the Bretonian High Court and my mother was a medic at the Cambridge Hospital.
Both very respected at their work for their devotion and passion in doing thing. I like to think I inherited those aspects of them, to put my soul in what I do. 810 A.S. , Planet Cambridge, Cambridge system. During that time I was just 11 years old.I was doing school. At that age, all kids are considered "special" or that have unlimited potential, as my parents wanted me to think. But I never was one that liked the lighspot, being the center of something wasn't something I was good at. In school I was always somebody that liked being left alone, somebody that didn't like to socialize with people out of nowhere, in fact I had only once friend, called Zack.First time I've met him is when I joined school, where the teacher assigned it next to me. At the beginning I was really hesitant, as I specified earlier. But something made me change the mind on him; once we were in class, and I remember me that I've forgot to do my homework, so as he noticed I didn't make them , so he passed those to me without saying nothing. Of course for a kid, that's a lot done, enough to make me change my mind on him. That's how our friendship started.
When I told my parents about him, they were so happy as they were struggling a lot to make me make some friends. 815 A.S. , Planet Cambridge, Cambridge system. I was growing, I was 16 years old. I started to understand myself better, starting to make my own decisions, the paths I want to take, what I want to study and so on.
During that time, I realized how low my interest was for my parent's jobs, even if I respected them deeply but I just couldn't get myself to like them. I was very "attracted"to engineering. I always had that curiosity in me which made me ask questions like "How can that fly?" indicating to a ship or "How is that built?". Many questions I didn't get answer until that age, when I decided to study Engineering.
I think with this choice I somehow dissapointed my parents as I think they expected me to find interest in one of their jobs but I had to choose this, as it was what I really enjoyed studying.
In the meanwhile, me and Zack become very close, I'd dare to say best friends. We were most of the time together, but arriving at this point we had to somehow separate. He has chosen to pursue studies in bio-chemistry and unfortunately led us to a some kind of breaking point.
During all those years, I've been working on my social skills and I've been starting to open myself to people and stared to socialize with more people, in fact when I started studying Engineering it was easier for me to connect with the rest of my class-mates. 821 A.S. , Planet Cambridge, Cambridge system. As I kept studying Engineering, I managed to get in Cambridge University where I got my degree! I must admit, arriving here was a burden and I've had to sacrifice a lot, but I can finally say I have a degree in something I love.
At the beginning my parents were a bit hesitant, as they didn't expect me to actually pursue this carrier, but I'm finally here.
In the course of my studies, they taught us the basics, like the base construction of a space-craft, (its engines etc.) also they trained us in repairing-maintaining-projecting anything from spacestations to basic satellites. But I didn't stop there;as I was curious, I started to look into the Cambridge Library's archive where I started studying different types of vessels and engineering techniques, from Bretonian to Kusarian.
I've learnt how they work and how they were built. Some ships, as expected, I couldn't have access to study it, such as the Capital Ships.
At the university they taught us how one of those were composed, but never got into the detail as specific Capital Vessels. Top secret I've heard. But you can see them some times around patroling and defending Bretonia.
When I was done, my first job was in a small Engineering team located on Cambridge Research Station where our teams were just doing maintenance work, to be sure that the base was fully operational. 826 A.S. ,Carrier Warwick , New London system. The situation escalated hard. War came upon us, it was an all in war against the Gallic invaders.
Thousands of deaths, and still more to come.
Due to this was, I was assigned to the Warwick as part of an Engineering team that had to constantly repair ships to be sent back. It's a lot of work daily, I'm starting to not like it. I'm already sick of the war and everything that it brought on us. I'd just love to find somebody that doesn't have to fight wars, but it just has to do their job peacefully with no war at their doors.
Hopefully my family is safe on Cambridge, but we cannot be sure. I'd love to see them more safe but there's nothing I can do, I'm not somebody that matters.
When I have free time I'll be looking around, maybe I find someone or somebody willing to take an engineer which is seeking shelter for a long war now.
I may see.
