yesterday I spoke with a pilot in New York, who told me that he was a simple citizen, and that he would recognize himself better with an ID more appropriate than freelancer. Something like the generic ID miner, but citizen or something like that.
That reflects the house from where it comes, to see for details.

Am I the only one who saw the title and thought "of all people, why would you ask NoMe"? As to the OP: I believe the intention is that Freelancer is a catch all for "everything else", in part to prevent having large numbers of redundant IDs.

Nah. Well, I think that the freelancer is a mercenary. And civilian is ... uh ... civilian
