I fail to see any logic here. Maybe it was about not making any future events.

May-be the devs will get the memo: that only a few Corsairs want some idiotic alliance with Gallia INRP... as for OORP its pretty easy to figure out why noone showed up to help Gallia
1) Using something insanely agile as the becon carrier which means you could just loldodge for 5 mins and get to the destination.
2) Rules not being stated clearly.
This event could've been way easier if only vhf's ,battleships and gunboats where allowed. A group of VHF's are effective in taking down a battleship in a reasonable amount of time and well battleships suck at moving and could've made the tug of war a bit harder.
A test bed for events like this would've made things smoother. Event ended up being Not good because the stakes between the two houses are high and theres alot of personal emotions running between players. Good idea nonetheless, a little slack in the execution but easily solvable next time.
We really aught to include a "draw" condition for events, if the result is going to mean anything.
That or go with the Molly/yesterday's LN event format, the result is predetermined but people can let loose in a respawn event, can even add monetary rewards.
I really think this event was fun. (remember Cardiff). Yes, my ass exploded after a restart. Yes, I think that changing the rules after the end and restarting is very shit. But still, I really enjoyed killing the frogs and Molly.

Probably not in particular circumstances such as this one, as Bretonia does not obtain the intel in the event of a 'draw' and thus Gallia does not lose it. Unless Gallia didn't create a backup file
Jokes aside, I think this should just be a hard to swallow pill for Bretonia, move on, and win the next one.
With the increased number of events by the dev team, Bretonia will get their next chance soon enough.
