Divided into two axis, the horizontal one indicating the economical aspect and the vertical one indicating how authoritarian one is, the political compass is one of the many tools to indicate where a party, organizations or individuals are placed. Considering it only determines two primary values, it is not meant to be extremely accurate.
Liberty Liberty corporations: They are as capitalistic as anything can be. While they have to be authoritarian since the competition is very deadly, they are socially liberal which offsets some of their authoritarian nature.
Lane Hackers: A true Libertarian faction. They place utmost value in their individualism, and the only thing that offsets their socially-super liberal ideology is the clear hierarchy within the faction. Unlike every other breakaway unlawful faction, they remained as capitalists but not extremely as they support some regulation on the so-called "corporatocracy".
Xenos: Being pro-worker and against international trade, the Xenos have socialist tendencies as much as a Libertonian faction can have at least. A year ago they would have been placed on the Authoritarian scale but under new management the Xenos have adopted more strongly the "Don't tread on me" ideology, placing particular value on freedom and liberty.
NOT placed on the map: (1) Liberty Rogues: They don't have a specific ideology. They are just there to steal your valuables.
(2) Separatists: Harmony's breakaway from LN ranks was not the result of different ideology, and over the years Harmony has not developed a different ideology either. Admiral Knight is an extremely authoritarian person, but until she administrates a civilian population, it cannot be determined.
Bretonia Borderworld Exports: A nationalized company which supports the governing pro-military party giving them extra authoritarian points. Being the polar opposite of Gateway, as well as owned by the state, they constantly seek more regulation to stifle free market and their private competitors.
Gaians: They are socially super-liberal and the green cause puts them slightly on the socialist side.
Gateway Shipping: They strongly support a free market economy for their House. They are also financially supporting the main opposition Federalist party which gives them extra liberal points.
Mollys: A deeply socialist and nationalist organization.
Kusari Kusarian corporations: Both Samura and Kishiro are very authoritarian. Naturally they are very capitalistic which is offset by their support for regulation to stifle out competition and establish monopolies.
Blood Dragons: Abiding by a strict code, Blood Dragons are extremely authoritarian. As the Shogun was driven out of Tokyo by the influential Kusarian corporations as well as being isolated for so many centuries, they are leaning more on the socialist side of the compass.
Farmers Alliance: Like the Xenos, they have clear anti-free market and anti-international trade tendencies. They are also nationalists.
Golden Chrysanthemums: Considering their cause, GCs are socially very-liberal. Considering their frequent dealings and travels to Liberty, one can expect they are a bit pro-market as well.
Hogosha: They are pro-market, which is offset by their attacks on non-Kusarian trade. They are deeply conservative by nature, however the casinos, race tracks and general underworld side gives them a few socially liberal points as well.
Rheinland Rheinland: A very nationalist and authoritarian House in general. As for the economics side by looking over the laws page, one can easily distinguish that Rheinland is the most over-regulated House. Their successful attempts over the span of many years to drive IMG out also give them extra anti-market points.
ALG Waste Disposal: The only ally of IMG in Rheinland makes ALG pro-market compared to the other corporations. Their secret support to the Bundschuh and their decision to support IMG against Bretonia, give them extra socially liberal points.
Bundschuh: Influenced by the Hessians and the Volksrevolution in general, their socialist tendencies are stronger than in the vanilla (undeveloped) faction. Their non-nationalist ideals and their fight for more freedom and democracy also give them many liberal points as well.
Red Hessians: A very authoritarian and socialist organization, bordering even communism.
Unioners: The true national-socialist faction of Rheinland. They secretly support the return of the Imperial Rheinland.
Unaffiliated Core: An extremely authoritarian organization, they are also extremely capitalistic and seek to make a profit out of everything. Ideologically and historically tied to Liberty more than any other House.
Corsairs: It is a quite strict society, giving extra points to the Authoritarian scale. Due to lack of food, the environment forced to develop a few socialist measures in order to survive.
Crayter Republic: The civilian government is quite weak compared to their military commanders giving them many authoritarian points. Economically wise, they are quite collective in principle, undoubtedly influenced by the IMG.
Independent Miners Guild: They have strong socialist tendencies. They are also quite liberal in nature through their support to the Federalist Party as well as acceptance of every person of every walk of life and lack of a strong hierarchy within the guild.
People's Republic of Sirius Coalition: Yes, comrade-kommisar!
Outcasts: Very capitalistic in nature, even human life is a commodity there. Unlike the Corsairs their society is not militarized, a little conservative in some aspects but slightly liberal overall.
The Xenos are distinctly right-wing. Not so far right as the Republic and thus higher in terms of authoritarianism. It is exceedingly difficult to classify unlawfuls as these spectrums are usually reserved for individuals or Government bodies, but that's a better point of reference for us on the scale.
Edit: I appreciate the reasoning used to determine its current location though. <3
I like the idea overall. There's many spots where it is not perfect though. I suppose this was done going by questions answered from faction pov as best as possible, would explain the results.
Can't expect personal judgement or opinions to be 100% ignored and it being 100% objective. Still great thing to do! A more accurate map of this could be useful for new and old players alike tbh, for a greater spectrum of factions of course!
I think Outcasts should be higher on the authoritarian scale. Their society is pretty conservative with many freedoms prohibited by law for the sake of the whole population due to where the unfortunate Hispania left them off to settle. Things like contraceptives being illegal, use of foreign captives as slaves, as well as the final solution to the Sirian problem via Cardamine are far from liberal measures. I'd say you'll enjoy a lot more freedom in Liberty than on Malta.

Corsairs are pretty conservative though, Chuba. While there are Outcasts that were not born as Maltese, I don't think the Corsairs ever let an outsider truly join them. There might have even been an infocard regarding that somewhere.

But Vasko, Outcast slavery is actually far better for the victim than the corporate slavery and crime-less imprisonment of the Houses down in places like Liberty Rheinland and Bretonia.
