Good afternoon,
As you can gather from the subject of this communique, I am contacting you on the basis of negotiation regarding recent conflict in Inverness. I'll get to the point with this one, I would like to propose a temporary cease of hostilities until we can hopefully establish an arrangement that would be beneficial to both parties as well as a treaty outlining these details. I feel as our long standing ally that this conflict is unnecessary and any wrong-doings on our part will be acknowledged where evidence exists.
As I understand the Inverness system recently has become a conflict zone between our respective groups and I'd like very much if we could first establish the situation and means to move forward.
Your message will be passed along to the appropriate people, although I cannot promise anything. The climate in the upper echelons of Bretonia is one of distinct hostility toward your organisation. Nonetheless, I will see what I can do.

Excellent, I understand at this stage nothing can be promised however I appreciate the investment of time on your part despite the current climate of politics regarding Auxesia.
The Bretonian Government has, surprisingly, granted permission for this meeting to take place. If you have a preferred place to meet, and if you would request any specific people, please let me know. The Government does however insist that you be present at these talks.

Mister Steiner,
I am truly glad to be given this opportunity to resolve this issue and understand it likely wasn't a particularly easy decision to make.
My presence at this meeting is guaranteed, I will perhaps have someone else present as witness to the discussion. However before this meeting takes place I would like to request a list of charges or essential wrong-doings of Auxesia that Bretonia has held us accountable for and any applicable evidence. This will make clarification on our part easier as well as potential reparations for these faults.
This will also assist me in preparing the appropriate responses and also a greater understanding of the situation. As for the location I will leave this entirely up to your good people to decide what is best as a token of trust on my part.
The Government has requested that our meeting be held at Dunedin station in the Inverness system. As for the list of crimes (grievances might be a more accurate term however), they are as follows:
Theft, interfering in matters of security of the realm, the issuing of threats to Bretonia, charges of suspected espionage, consorting with Nomads/suspected infected, disobeying direct orders & Assault.

Mister Steiner,
I feel the meeting point is acceptable however before we proceed; our discussions within the command of Auxesia has raised some key points and well, issues with some of the claims you have pointed out.
Having discussed the claims aforementioned with my associates, we have a few questions I wish to discuss with you or your representatives on a basis of relevant evidence. We are having trouble finding relevant information to support some of these claims. Essentially due to lack of contextual evidence or a failure in communication.
I will clarify clearly below the claims stated and how we stand with them and the reasons why.
We do accept responsibility for the following claims:
Disobeying Direct Orders
We do not accept responsibility for the following claims:
Consorting with Nomads/Suspected infected: Lack of substantial evidence to support this.
Assault: There is no applicable evidence to support an incident, this requires further discussion and/or clarification. Assualt on whom more importantly and any evidence to support this.
Issuing threats to Bretonia: Incident documented within Inverness, this was an action of self defense. Evidence concludes this, Incident occured due to lack of response to previous communications by the Bretonian government and failure to respond with clarification regarding the facility in Inverness. Transports during this incident were permitted to supply the facility. We do not conclude grounds for a military force were justified and we do in fact have communicaton logs to support that the command of Auxesia stated transports were allowed to supply the Bretonian facility. However further clarification or information regarding that situation was not recieved from the Bretonian authorities, thus a default defense plan was activated to protect assets and populice within the system.
Theft of certain materials or cargo: This has been dismissed as the fine was paid for this error and we deem this has been resolved satisfactorily within Bretonian Law. No similar incidences of theft have been committed to date.
Charges of Suspected Espionage: We feel this upon discussion is false. We have been a long standing ally of Bretonia and would of course have no motive to engage in espionage. We have been documented assisting Bretonian forces against the threats of the house and activites relating to bountied targets. Execution of these targets which were paid accordingly when complete. - Clearly we had authorization to carry these tasks out.
We would like to clarify the discussion in the system identified in New London between a representative of Bretonia and an Auxesian operative was on an entirely theoretical basis by a lower ranking pilot. This pilot unfortunately was marked as killed in action during a skirmish with Gallic forces. We are unable to investigate this further due to this factor. However we would like to note that information discussed from lower ranking pilots should not be taken as factual until it has been confirmed by the Inner Phalanx of Auxesia.
Interfering in Matters of Security of the Realm: This we also do not agree with for the factors mentioned in my previous point. I would also like to highlight our involvement with the Omega 3 situation was entirely voluntary by the Bretonian government to send a representative to discuss it. We did not at any time force the government to partake in this, we see Bretonia as a house with the power to make its own respective decisions. We left the situation as it was due to the incident escalating in Omega 3 despite discussions about this issue and no further ground could be gained. We do not feel overall this was interferance due to Bretonia willingly discussing this at a meeting, despite the end result remaining unchanged. - Please clarify further if this is not the incident you are referring to.
I sincerely hope I have clarified everything to your satisfaction, I look forward to your response. Please do ask if there are any points or issues I have not mentioned or remain unclear and I will do my utmost to ensure these are explained to your satisfaction. Additionally if you could provide any more issues or evidence for the claims above then that would be appreicated.
The Bretonian Government have decided that a summit ought to be held at Dunedin Station regarding all matters above and that a treaty ought to be discussed and ratified regarding Auxesia-Bretonia relations. We will send a team of representatives to the aforementioned location and await your arrival.
In the words of your own diplomat ''Your presence is non negotiable.''
The individual responsible for managing this quickly became indisposed with civic duties inside Covenant territory, and thus is no longer available. In light of this and recent developments, I'll be assuming control of this transmission.
Now, while I appreciate your need for a meeting, hearing or whatever this is intended to be - our first priority is the safety and security of our civilians, and by extent the civilians of our neighbors. With this in mind, I've temporarily lifted the blockade and deployed the First Meros to Leeds in order to alleviate pressure on the evacuation. I already dispatched a message via the emergency transmission Commodore Redmond sent requesting our restriction be lifted, but I'm not going to sit idly by while non-combatants struggle their way off-world.
I haven't always agreed with the methods Bretonia has used in this war, and if you can't swallow your pride long enough for their sake then you've already lost. So if you intend to shoot us in the back for helping you, then you'd better not miss.
You are within the legal boundaries to defend and protect the civilians and non-combatants who belong to your organisation. This is not challenged. I advise you however that Auxesia has no legal authority over non-combatants and civilians of other Houses or Organisations.
To clarify; I do not object to your actions, I only wish to inform you of the Law as it is written. Your ships and actions in Leeds are Legally subject to Bretonian Law. Practically it is highly unlikely that the law will be enforced there as Gallia claims sovereignty over that system. For the sake of simplicity then, I advise you to avoid any type of confrontation with Bretonian Forces. Although the BAF codes of honour lean in your favour, so long as you are acting in the immediate defence of non-combatants and Civilians.
Pride has nothing to do with me sir. I am a Queen's Counsel, my business is Law, not the illusions of power so oft produced by petty politics.
