The Bretonian government would like to express it's continued friendship to the Council, and reiterate it's support for efforts to undermine the Gallic crown. Military matters of course are left to the Bretonian Armed Forces, in particular your predicament in Roussillon is of deep concern to us militarily and of course in a humanitarian aspect. Further afield, your people face hardships in Gallia without respite, and it is this struggle for survival that I feel is undermining your efforts to take the fight to the enemy.
The BAF, in cooperation with the Maquis, your errant yet highly effective comrades, has sought to engage in domestic disruption activities by using Cyber Warfare, the materials needed for this endeavor are to be delivered to Maquis installations within Picardy.
This brings us to the main topic of this communication. While transport craft conduct delivery of materials to be used by the Maquis, we have presented to us an opportunity to help relieve the burden on Gallic civilians who oppose the crown, by transporting them to a safe haven. The haven we have proposed is Gran Canaria, which has considerable capacity. The Maquis agree with this idea, and we are to transport a small number of population they will help facilitate.
We have in unison, begun the construction of a self-sustaining colony on the surface of Gran Canaria where a Zoner enclave, lays abandoned. Naturally, the Maquis, as effective as they are at what they do, are no administrators, and I fear the population they can move logistically is also limited. We would therefore invite the Council to join this activity, and for the Council to set up a local government on Gran Canaria.
I am sure you have concerns, primarily the safety of Gran Canaria considering the nature of the planet, and the proximity to the unruly Omega sector, but I assure you this system will be considerably more safe than the ones you occupy now, and from this system, you will be able to continue your revolution from a point of safety. The Kingdom of Bretonia is committed to overthrowing the Gallic crown in light of the terrible war crimes they have committed against us and the peoples of Sirius, and from Gran Canaria, we can support efforts to undermine them indirectly for decades to come.
Best regards,
Benedict Callahan, Secretary to the Cabinet
