Originally constructed at early 821 A.S., the Zephyr Mark II named after a minor sea god was used as a testbed for early Jumpdrive usage after it served in 2nd Fleet for a long time. Due to the prototype nature and technical problems, the ship did not participate in the Tau-44 takeover. During a test, the ship lost contact with Sabah Shipyard and classified M.I.A. However, recently, the ship was sighted at Tau-23 system. After an overhaul process at Sabah, Glaucus started to serve as the flagship of 3rd "Legacy" Fleet. Just a few days ago, the ship's command transferred to Michael Richard.
As a Mark II Retrofit, combined with support of Legacy Fleet's own supply chain and Quorum's support, the vessel has been outfitted with a Jumpdrive Mark IV, as well as several non-Colonial origin reverse-engineered weaponary and top of the line armor plating.
