Do you ever look back on previous roleplay you did yourself from around 4+ years ago and say something along the lines of "Eugh, I wrote this?"
I know it sounds odd, but after doing up my character profile and trying to make sense of shifting priorities where my character aligns with the faction, theres just so much mess that i'd rather bury under sand piles but just refuse to since its reconn-ing around 3 years of already established roleplay.
I think most of us are just waiting for the the forum history after a certain date to vanish.
I'm happy with everything I did and do. My first posts were in simple and faulty english and after three years of Discovery I'm better at it than many english players. While I can't say I like the way everything evolved, I'm certainly pretty happy and proud about how it is now.
In the end, however, most people won't bother digging up old stuff of yours. Most people don't even bother reading the current stuff. In the end, it's just something you do for yourself and sometimes you get the appreciation from other people who stumbled over your recent stuff. I treasure every compliment I get on my stuff. You should do so as well.
No, I proudly catalog it all in my feedback thread. Sometimes thought I kind of look with nostalgia at my old RP when I was careless and irrelevant and didn't have any responsibilities.

I know, but my stuff was just like wacky and way off the walls years ago. I guess theres the eventuality when you stick to one character for the majority of your time on Disco is that they'll eventually end up changing along with your own tastes overtime. Especially self inserts. But when it comes to it, I guess when tastes change and you evaluate what you did previously when you find yourself settled into the position a bit better in the current period.
I'm happy with the stuff I do now, but looking back, some of the context i wrote makes me go "Why did I write this, none of this is thought out!?" Maybe I could just never figure out what to do with them until recently.

Because stuff I wrote 8 - 10 years ago is terrible trash and I've become a better writer in general. Stufffrom 2015/2016 is eh, but anything before I cringe and despise my idiocy and writing style.

i cringed so hard looking at my own stuff that one day i went on a deleting spree after people started bullying me with it
i kinda regret it
it was history and at the time i had fun writing it ):
