The Gen'an Sisterhood hereby invites you to attend our Kingiku No Seiyaku festival at Morioka. During this festival we honour Yuyu Matsuda, our saviour, and the vow we took to realise her ideals.
The Kingiku No Seiyaku Matsuri will take place on June 23th. There will be finest Kyushu sake, all kinds of luxurious food and dance performances of our most talented sisters. Other invited attendies will be the Maltese, Rogues, Junkers and Blood Dragons.
I know there might have been tensions between us, but please accept our invitation. There is no need for us to only meet when we are at odds about something.
Kon'nichiwa, Yume-san. Ogenki de irasshaimasu ka these days?
Moushi wake arimasen deshita but unfortunately we find ourselves at odds again, at least slightly.
⧫ Your invitation
It is a beautiful idea of the Gen'an Cell to celebrate our immortal Matsuda in their own way. Honoring her through celebrations and rituals is not uncommon, we are curious to see how the Gen'an Cell wishes to honor her in this special case. We accept your invitation - of course we do. It would have been much appreciated if you informed us prior to sending out invitations though. Morioka has parts used by the Gen'an Cell and you consider those your own headquarters, but it is and will always be a vital part of the whole Sisterhood.
Its security is especially vital for the Cardamine exchange with the Lane Hackers and on irregular basis with the Liberty Rogues. Next time, please do not go ahead and invite everyone randomly. The date of the celebration lets us enough time to make a few preparations ourselves, but it would have been wise to keep us informed even before the first invitation was sent out.
While all guests belonging to the groups listed are welcome to Morioka, it would be nice to see a detailed guest list. You know, we would not mind assisting the preparations at all. A celebration for Yuyu Matsuda is a celebration held for and by us all. We are one Sisterhood, no matter how you might want to see it or feel about it.
Furthermore, I wish to inquire why you excluded the Lane Hackers. Our honorable Libertorian friends of the Orange Alliance, our key ally and major buyer in the Cardamine business being excluded from such an event? I can hardly find a reason to do so. Go ahead and invite them, if you do not, we will. Excluding them would be very impolite.
Additionally, I hope you will not mind when we keep an eye on the guests from the Liberty Rogues. Past dealings and matters proved they can be reliable businesspartners, yet not all of them are of good manners and some of our Sisters might wish to transfer over to Ainu during the duration of their stay.
You say so yourself that all listed parties are welcome at Morioka anyway, so we see no reason not to invite them to a party hosted by the Gen'an Sisterhood. We will make sure security details will be up to appropriate levels, however they are not invited at random. All listed groups are supporters of the Gen'an Chrysanthemums and we trust them to support our house rules. The added effect of having multiple allies is that if, lets use your Rogue concerns, the rogues will go out of line, there will be more than enough allies around to restrain them and send them on their way. They are responsible for their own conduct during the festival and if they misbehave, we will adjust our stance accordingly.
We feel sorry that you feel the need to use this opportunity to complain again, instead of just attending and having a good time. Regarding the detailed guest list. We don't have one. We expect the invited guests to know us well enough to know that we won't tollerate conflict on our own turf and make their own selection. This is a celebration after all.
The Lane Hackers are not invited for the simple reason of us not having any meaningful contact with them, while those who we invited have proven to be reliable and trustworthy allies.
⧫ Your invitation
The listed parties were invited at random for us as you did not see fit to get us involved prior to it. There is no issue with them coming to a celebration like this, being uninvolved is not nice though.
The guest list was a simple question. It would have been nice to know if for example parts of the Maltese Goverment, the Rogue Warlord or any other higher member of the parties were planning to show up, so we could have prepared a little gift for them. I am quite sure most of them do not own a copy of "Golden Chrysanthemum in Bloom" yet, though this is more of an idea for all guests showing up to receive.
The possible appearance of important people of our allies is also the reason why we are concerned about the security of the celebration. Expect additional personnel for security reasons to appear at Morioka shortly, we can coordinate things together then.
I hope you see now that this is not "bossing you around". It is simply our wish to be prepared for all possibilities.
To make the Rogues concerns a little more clear, perhaps you understood them incorrectly, my mistake, I usually refrain from such details, it's due to some of our Sisters past with the Rogues. I will not explain it even further. But I do not expect this lower Rogues to show up anyways and letting the affected Sisters temporarily move off to Ainu shouldn't be an issue at all.
Regarding the Lane Hackers, wouldn't it be a good opportunity to establish contact with them then? I am quite sure even parts of their Professorship would follow such an invitation, it's a quite rare to have a face-to-face conversation with them. That's a brilliant opportunity even.
So? Will you exclude us from the preparations now or see the reason behind our words? I would even try to return from my current task in order to help with the preparations myself.
I hope that makes things clear.
You are not uninvolved, you got an invitation. Let me ask you a rhetorical question. Would the Gen'an Sisterhood be asked permission when you hold a party at Ainu, with the option to edit the guest list to their liking even though you have personaly invested your resources in them?
Fukuoka does not need Osaka's permission to hold a festival, but they are still under the same nation.
You started with the opening sentence: "It is a beautiful idea of the Gen'an Cell to celebrate our immortal Matsuda in their own way." Then let us do so.
I do expect the leadership of each of the listed factions to show up. We so far got confirmation that the Shogun and the Cadiz Cartel will be there. Feel free to bring copies of Golden Chrysanthemum in Bloom for each one of them. The number of the entourage they will bring is unknown to us. Perhaps you should bring extras just in case, but we also have a pretty large collection of them on the station.
Security is also a concern to us. Do you think the Matriarch will arrive without at least some protection? But lets not forget that this is a festival. Relax abit and just enjoy this. Our sisters are trained soldiers who can handle themselves if things go bad. The sisters on the station who are unwilling to be here won't be forced to do so. Temporary relocation will be on our costs.
We never said that the Lane Hackers are barred from attending. We only said that they are in the shadows to us. It is hard to include an invitation to those who we never had contact with. Can we request that you handle this invitation then, since we have no way of knowing where to direct it to?
