This is Lieutenant Alexander come in West Point. Requesting to dock. As he docked on the base he was greeted by the Supreme Admiral Joseph John Back. And was asked to follow him. Alexander followed him; they ended up in Josephs office. It was well decorated and very posh. Have a seat please Alex Joseph said in a kind and calm voice. They stared to have a conversation involving a Promotion. Alexanders heart raced as fast as a F1 race car. Alex had received a promotion to battleship Supreme Commander.
They set a date March 3rd. The day finally came. The promotion ceremony. Every one was there, old friends new friends and colleges, and his best mate that he had not seen in many many years. His name was Farquar. He had joined the navy as well and was a Lieutenant as well. The celebration was on the Battleship Vampire. Alex walked up to Admiral Joseph and said to him Admiral Joseph, this is my best mate Farquar, and would like him to join my crew said Alex, we will discuses it in the morning, Have some fun replied Joseph. The party went on in to the early hours of the morning. The Vampires bar had run out of drinks. As people left the Vampire was restocked and refilled and ready for departure.
The next morning before departure Alex went and saw the Admiral. Now Alex I have aloud your mate Farquar to join the crew of the Vampire, BUT you will treat him like any other crew member. Got that! Said Joseph Yes sir sulleted Alex. Farquar was quickly gathered up his belongings and raced towards the Vampires Docking bay, he just made it. Farquar was shown his quarters. Farquar was ordered to the bridge. Farquar found it difficult to make his way to the bridge, seeing that he as never been on a Battleship before. Farquar Finally made it to the bridge; Alex greeted him and showed him around the bridge. And explained the mission that they had been sent on, the mission was to check out a major disturbance in one of the border worlds.
They started to enter the unknown, non hove them have ever been past Magellan. They had received clearance from Bretoina to pass through to Omega 3. They travelled for many nights. They eventually reached Freeport 9 to refuel and restock there supplies. Alexander asked Farquar to ask some of the Zoners around the base if the know where the Omicron Gamma jump hole is. He picked up a few good tip offs that the jump hole was in sector 6E. After a few hours of repairing and restocking they sent out a fighter wing to check out the sector. They reported back that there sources were correct, they tanked them and payed them handsomely. Finally set off to the Jump Hole. The Vampire reached the Jump hole. They jumped and on the other side was a group of for bounty hunters in combat with a group of Corsairs. The Vampire emidatly went in to action and sent out a wing of fighters. The Battleships turrets picked of the Corsairs easily. The Bounty Hunters thanked us and were on there way. We explored the system a little bit before heading to or target. We got to our target and there was 3 fleets of Corsairs There battleship turrets took our shield down quite quickly we fled the battle; we lost to wings of fighters we ran and ran but the followed us and keep up with us. We found an unknown jump hole to a system called Omicron 94 we docked with the jump hole, the followed us and did not give up. Eventually we ran out of fuel, and stoped. The Corsair Battleship boarding party boarded the Vampire and took several hostages including Alexander and Farquar. The rest were shot onsite. They completely scavenged every thing off the recks and left only a few ships out there, you may see these ships around and maybe a bit of the battleship floating out there some where. So be on the look out
