Robble... Heck, Trogdor, I don't even have the bloom effect on and mine goes, "Freelancer *two planets* (loading screen) and decides to crash itself. Rather frustrating.
All the settings for the Bloom are located in the enbseries.ini inside the FreeLancer.exe folder. But try not to mess around with it if your not sure what to do. Other than that i just turned down my Gamma settings in FL to 10.
I'd like to keep it active but not automatically working... I mean I want this effect off when I'm starting the game and want to be able to turn it on with SHIFT F12
How should I do ?
I would say to change the UseEffect line, but I'd like confirmation before raping the game:P
you can always turn it off the second your game has loaded and you are in the main menue. though i don't know of a way to get around the flashing when starting the game.
' Wrote:the ENBseries are post render effects. - that means, the whole screen is rendered in FL, and then rendered again using dx9 effects... which can put some stress on the CPU / graphic - i guess. an "up-to-date" computer should be fine though
On my Athlon 3000+ with one gig of RAM and an XFX GeForce 7600GT, I get 120 FPS, with occasional drops to 117.
Oddly enough, before 4.85, my frames were capped at 60.
Strange, but now much cooler.
