A few hours ago we initiated the first full scale test of our new and experimental Yugami Drive in Shikoku. The test was successful, but displaced some of our forces to Omicron Alpha, 200k away from planet Malta to be precise.
While it is unfortunate that we arrived so far from Kusari, we are lucky enough to arrive in allied space. I would like to request an inspection by Valetta Shipyard's engineers on our carrier, the Ise Jingu, to see if it sustained any damage during the jump. And to give our pilots and crew of the Ise Jingu temporary stay on Valetta while our ship is being worked on.

Our own research division has not been sitting idly lately and while we do rely on Maltese technology, we also attempt to develop our own technologies using the resources available to us.
As far as I am aware, we have no casualities. However we need to have Ise Jingu inspected incase the jump caused hidden damage to the ship that might cause a catastrophe later. All our earlier Yugami Drive experiments were done with probes and this is the first time we integrated the Drive with a vessel. I want to be sure the integrity of the ship hasn't been comprimised.

I will take you to see the Yugami Drive when the scan is complete. This is the first and only full-scale working prototype we created and it was extremely taxing on our resources.
