Must admit, seeing you at Freeport 9, it was almost like seeing a ghost, and I'm so glad you're back.
Before I get lost in the whole 'good to see you' spiele which we've already had in space, I want to just clear up our stance currently, so we know exactly were Genesis and Velvet are standing at each other. I have attached the terms, that until they are negotiated, are seen as standing. We would request until negotiations are met, that these are the current terms. Any bloodshed or further ill-will won't go down well for either of us. I don't want tensions, at all. I see a lot of positive for Genesis. With the previous assets you have from Ingenuus and with how effectively I know Martin can do things, there is only up that you guys can grow. Just err... No pumpkins, eh?"

But until tensions are dropped, I see it best that Genesis and Velvet avoid all interactions beyond the negotiations that we can either conduct over these transmissions, or face to face in a truly neutral place. Not in the Omicrons, but in the Sigmas, somewhere in which Velvet has no jurisdiction. Also, I know you mentioned briefly about Corinth. When all these tensions are relieved, it would be worth getting in contact with the current administrator, Stella Hoshii, as she has been not only an amazing and accommodating administrator, but also has since taken up head of Research and Development for the organisation, alongside a plethora of other individuals from all walks of life.

Melissa. I was able to look through the attachments you provided. I must say that i'm very sad and disapointed at how both sides failed to see a bigger picture and make a compromise. So without further ado i present to you the terms of a new agreement between the GRG and Velvet.
1. The administration of Ames Research Station remains in the hands of the Genesis Research Group (further named GRG)
2. GRG will stop the current project with the Legacy order cell.
3. The previous Agreement immediatly becomes void and GRG ships are once again free to operate within the Omicrons without restrictions from Velvet Organisation(further named Velvet)
4. Velvet will return the administration of Corinth Research Station to GRG.
5. Velvet will keep keep a small presence on Corinth in order to continue their R&D research.
6. GRG will respect and uphold the the NCLE regarding the mining of Azurite gas and Iridium
7. Velvet will not prevent GRG in legaly aquiring the above mentioned materials.
8. GRG will uphold and respect the points of this agreement

Now that politics are aside we can finally talk about personal things. And indeed it would be great to have a drink when this is over and i'm already looking forward to it. And before i forget here is the picture of the system i was talking about. The system contained two gas giants designated on the picture as P3X228 and P3X229 and as you can see it was a binary system with an M and a K type star (left to right). You can't see it on the picture yet but it also contained an asteroid field and a nebula wich we unfortunatly had no time to explore but preliminary scans indicated a good source of iron, nikkel. and more importantly platinum. If one is intrested in theese of course. In any case i hope this message finds you well. And that you'll be able to agree to theese terms. There is nothing we did not previously discuss in space at Freeport 11.

I think that as we move forward, we can better understand that these terms, although can be negotiated, there is little wriggle room as it were that I am willing to give. This is mostly because of the history with Martin Lawrence, current leader of Genesis. This is not because I want to 'exile' a group of fellow Zoners, but am taking the necessary precautions to allow our groups to work as far away from each other, as since it's formation, Genesis and Velvet have only butted heads.
Evan, think on the terms, I can see us working something that is beneficial to both of us, regardless of Velvet and Genesis. And also think on that beer when we get time."

Melissa. The group has looked through your proposition and i'm deeply sorry that i must say this. It seems that there was a small misunderstanding. In short i may have overestimated my freedom in theese talks. The CEO provided me with his own set of terms wich i've read. I must say that i'm sure that Velvet will not agree to this but i'll still send this in hopes that my intuition is wrong. So here it is.
1. Ames Research Station, by accords with OSI, will remain GRG, and due to the circumstances created, all Military Velvet Vessels have denied access to the installation.
2. GRG will not interefere with any Velvet operations, and aswell Velver will not interefere with GRG operations.
3. The "exile" is lifed from GRG from Omicrons
4. Velvet will retain administration of Corinth, but GRG emplyees will not be under the Administrator's command and both organisation shall do their researchers, without interfering with the others.
If code of conduct is broken, the GRG will take measures, as Velvet shall provide proof of such.
5. Velvet will continue its operations unhindered, as the Lower Omicrons are it's primary sectors of operation.
6. GRG will respect and uphold the the NCLE regarding the mining of Azurite gas and Iridium ore and as such, if agreed by one or more parties of the NCLE, GRG shall cooperate with said party/parties in the mining operation

"Evan, I can only apologise... The way Martin has acted and behaved to my own people, as well as him trying to impose himself as the entity that IRG was over Velvet, and with the past. I can't accept these terms in good faith, at all. I will give a final revision of the terms. From there on... This is as much wiggle room as I will allow, and this is only because it is you with whom I am dealing.

GRG can rent up to 3 lab spaces at $15,000,000SC (fifteen million) per month, per lab space. This will only permit access to the labs. GRG acknowledges that Velvet are the owners and administrators of the station.
5. Velvet will continue its operations unhindered, as the Lower Omicrons are it's primary sectors of operation.
6. GRG will respect and uphold the the NCLE regarding the mining of Azurite gas and Iridium ore and as such, will not engage in it's own mining operations until it's agreed within the NCLE.

Evan, should these terms not be agreeable, I see no reason as to why Martin would want to budge. I've already agreed above to rescind exile of Genesis, as well as allow them access to Iridium and Azurite. I don't think Martin understands that he does not have the reaches he did as Ingenuus. Should he have an issue, I will be open to negotiations with him. But he has already exhausted all good will between ourselves. I think he also fails to understand, that a station under administration and ownership, as it was when he was in Ingenuus, if the owners or administrator told those there to do something, their word is final. It is exactly the same on an OSI base. Should they ask something, rest assured, their house, their rules."
She sighs, obviously not happy about having to talk business at the moment, but knowing it is what must be done. SHe takes a sip of a glass of water sat next to her. She clears her throat and chuckles lightly.

GRG can make use of up to 3 lab spaces and will in return provide counseling on Velvets research endeavors. This will only permit GRG access and use of the labs. GRG acknowledges that Velvet are the owners and administrators of the station.
5. Neither Velvet or GRG will come anywhere near each other’s research unless invited to do so, for example to provide suggestions or assistance.
6. Velvet will continue its operations unhindered, as the Lower Omicrons are its primary sectors of operation. Likewise, Velvet will not hinder GRG operations as long as they do not involve matters otherwise mentioned in this agreement.
7. GRG will respect and uphold the the NCLE regarding the mining of Azurite gas and Iridium ore and as such, will not engage in its own mining operations until it's agreed within the NCLE or to mine on behalf of one of the NCLE parties.
8. Velvet will not prevent GRG in legally acquiring the above-mentioned materials through its allies.

Looking slightly surprised as Evan responds, Melissa looks over the content and is very impressed.
"Evan, I've spoken to my guys away from official communication and can confirm that these terms are more than fair and agreeable. I think this is a beautiful beginning of friendship for Genesis and Velvet, and am glad that this is resolved peacefully. I will ensure that my people are aware internally as well, so that we are all operating on the same pages. Evan, seriously... I can't thank you enough."
Melissa bows her head respectfully, it's obvious she's happy with the outcome.
"Now that business is over, what say a drink in that bar. Corinth is usually quite nice around these times, and it would give Genesis time to set up the labs that it wants to use there, as well as a potential to meet the new administrator there, see what collaborations we can do. I think now, we can say business is concluded, maybe over a pint, you can show me some more pictures of where you've been?"
Mel smiles. A soft chuckles passes her lips as she closes her eyes gently, bowing her head.
