Greetings to Battlegroup Harmony. I am Deceiver Maximillian Largo, of the Lane Hackers.
I hope you are in good shape overall, given it has passed quite some time since we last spoke, yes?
This comm is to know if you have anything we can help you out with, as well as asking if you're willing to assume some joint operations against our common enemies, of course.
As a rekindling token, I was tasked with delivering a couple of deliveries of fresh Cardamine from Malta to Marshall Station, I hope you appreciate it.
Not sure if we already spoke in the past, so let's start with the basics. I am the Captain Justin Waldhar from Harmony. This being said, let's proceed. Despite not being a member of the Battlegroup High Command, I allow myself to give you a reply. Apologies for the delay. The HC has been obviously informed and they are willing to give you perhaps a most satisfying answer than mine.
The deliveries of Cardamine are greatly appreciated. This substance is always benefic for our soldiers and pilots. The last Cardamine convoy happened few months ago and the stocks were pretty low before your gesture of generosity.
I can assure you the Battlegroup is always ready to help you against our common enemies. If there is anything you already planned involving our presence; then it would be judicious to share with us the details.
A last thing more personal. The Lane Hackers had accepted to share some of their Vindicator fighters with the Battlegroup. Though when the war with the Unioners started, it has been asked to the Battlegroup to not use any Hackers technology against them. This agreement has been respected and now the war's over, it would be great to again have access to your technology. If that is still possible what do you expect from us in exchange?
It is good to hear from you folks back, Captain Waldhar. I am relieved that my gesture has been appreciated.
Allow me to to straight to the point: The Unioners have been looting, plundering and pillaging Liberty's riches with our lenience for far too long. This has to end now and forever. They need to understand that nothing is taken for granted, and everything has to be earned.
This said, be advised that the Lane Hackers, by word of our wise Professors, will no longer allow the Unioners to pirate, raid and plunder Texas or any other House Liberty system they can access. Liberty is our home, and we do not allow anyone to do as they please in our space.
We also ask if the Battlegroup's High Command does share our belief and convinction in this matter, as well as our will to keep Rheinlanders out of Liberty space, period.
As for the technology exchange you mentioned, I can confirm that Harmony is currently allowed to operate x2 LHX7-F4S "Vindicator" and 2x LHX7-B5H "Transgressor". However, we now unerstand that the Unioners are a vicious group, one that takes passivity as weakness. Subsequently, we are ready to offer guns and more ships should the circumstances change.
My apologies that this is a bit later than expected, there's been a number of troubles with preparations. To the matter at hand, after the exchange earlier between various Hacker Assassins and company it's quite the peculiar situation. As I've stated before I have no reason to distrust the Hackers and their judgement, but for matters of morale I do request the evidence showing the warship 'Sirene' being the Lane Hacker flagship Fu Manchu.
Regardless of the matter, I will have patrols tasked with aiding in enforcing this ban so that negotiations can weigh further towards returning things to where they rightfully belong. I do sympathize with the situation, having previously been forced into violence beforehand. I sincerely hope negotiations can proceed and avoid any bloodshed over the matter, but as I advised in the field. Hope for the best, be prepared for the worst.
All we'll require is notice when the piracy ban will be active. I have advised the Unioners to stay clear of Texas until this can be put to rest, but you never know. I am curious on the final note, I'm just curious on what the supply of weapons and vessels would be permitted should that circumstance that would call for this allowance come about. I merely ask for logistical purposes in the event it does happen.
As of today, 15:15 SMT, the Inner Circle and Lord Moka of the Liberty Rogues have agreed to impose a Liberty-wide ban on the Unioners. As part of Liberty's rightful leaders' decision, entry in all forms to them is hereby prohibited.
For far too long, they have abused their stay in our space - Rheinlanders exploiting our goodwill and hospitality by plundering convoys in Liberty.
