Message follows: - This is Albert Baldwick to all Cartographers and ship masters, well actually anyone that can pick up this message. Our interstellar telescopes and sensor arrays that we use alongside the Zoners out here in lawless space, has revealed a rather startling phenomenon.
We are calling this the 5th Sirius Steller Drift, or SDD for short. This phenomenon has been difficult to pin down, and even more difficult to figure out why it occurs, all we have are theories. But what we do know is damning. The SDD has enough gravitational forces that are only detectable to certain sensors, but its effects are far from inconspicuous.
The SDD has effectively thrown all our maps out of date, is have moved ships, stations, planets, stars and yes even systems out of alignment in some places. The effected systems are sporadic, causing all our effort in charting Sirius back to square one out here. All our maps out here are inaccurate, and deadly. The Zoners have lost three cargo vessels because their on-board computers we using inaccurate data. God rest their souls.
Another effect this phenomenon has had is that is has also shifted dormant or misaligned jump holes into alignment, we have reports of new and uncharted systems! This is truly fascinating to say the least, are there planets? Are there resources? Are they unclaimed? We here at the SCG are very curious about these new systems that we were previously unable to reach.
We therefore submit a motion to all Houses, corporations and factions to hire a SCG pilot immediately to update their navigation systems remotely, and give them an escort to chart these new places.
We thank you for reading this announcement from the Sirius Cartographers Guild. May peace be upon thee, and curiosities settled.

//Hey folks, the SCG as far as I know is balony. I just RP'ed that our Nav Charts are up the pipe because of Steller Drift. I hope this can work its way into your RP somehow. Win or fail I don't mind. I just wanted to share my way of RP'ing these new places and system 'movements'.
