Sender: Consul Escudero of Maltese Hispania Recipient: Enma Loyola Subject: Inquiry
Doña Loyola,
Buenos dias.
It appears you have returned to Malta and immediately started causing us problems that cost money. Namely, I refer to this message that I received recently from an interested party. You do realise you are going against the general politics of the current leadership of Maltese Hispania? Your small "crusade" is costing us money - money we are making by trade with Bretonia. While your predictions of war with Bretonia have a point and have split the Senate on how we should act with you and your message, I assure you we had our own plan and we had it developing well and under control. Now you are messing up the long and tedious work with your infantile actions without even realising what is at stake and how to achieve it.
More importantly, your attempts to plunge back into Maltese politics while being involved with the Core in high capacity is something the Dons frown upon: you either stand for Malta, or you stand for the Core. We have no ill against the Core now, but national interests cannot be split. So you will have to choose.
All in all, I expect explanations as to your actions. Your persona is still grata on Malta but whether it remains as such depends on your further actions, so tread carefully. You are trying to start a war against Bretonia, that albeit weakened can land a punch against us. Your understanding of the long-term outcomes of the current situation seem to be limited, so leave the stellar politics to the Senate who is vested in such matters, por favor. Or at least stop acting independently - you are currently on your own against Bretonians and official Maltese Hispania will renounce any your actions and will not lend assistance while certainly being able to close off access to our facilities.
If you want to be helpful - you can look in the direction of Kusari where we have been planning a major offensive operation, or Gallia that now with Bretonia being a non-combatant is looking at us with disdain and ready to shoot our pilots trying to spread Cardamine to Lorraine or any other system. I heard you amassed a bunch of mercenaries around you - if you want to serve well as such, I might have a contract for you, quite lucrative and beneficial for all the Maltese. First though, you are to cease hostilities against Bretonia.
Your actions shall define how the populace of Malta remembers you. A perpetual traitor or someone capable of reason. And only you can choose.
Respetuosamente,
Hernan Luis Escudero Grijalva
Consul of the Senate of the Maltese Unitary Republic of Hispania
His excellency

Dear Consul:
Oh, I suppose there's a minor change of plans then? Judging from the news. Excuse it was a long one I did not bother to listen all of it, but I did hear a part about myself, how rude of you.
