You will be updated once more goods are delivered. A considerable amount of H-Fuel needed for just a strike force, but you will still get the requested amount.
I can confirm that your first deliveries have reached the Alliance. As I promised you beforehand, we already begun with the production of our vessels. As you should know, this is going to take a while. if you give us some time, expect us to be ready for your calls.
The last delivery will contain the last of the Manifolds. The last transport is in dire need of some repairs after a mix-up, and will be Ames-bound before this time tomorrow.
The deal is off, and in any given situation I'm going to be making sure you're the one that gets shot at first. I hope the glory that comes with tearing up my ship was worth it, probably was given the way the economy works. Can't be without consequence though, kiss this deal goodbye.
I admit. This was an unexpected development. Seems like we are getting to tension earlier than the both of us thought.
With this transmission I am going to let you know that I have talked to Cobra. He was rather overreacting and overemotional as he felt betrayed by your people after we have closed this deal. We will not see you as a target just yet, no. We, still, are willed to fulfill our part of the deal, but there is just one more condition.
Keep your dogs under control. If they have the need to gnash teeth and bite if there's a snake getting too close, keep them on the short leash. At the very least try to keep your other operatives under control. We would be very thankful about that.
Also, maybe you'd be interested in a little compensation for the inconveniences that came of your department's direction? This is just a little request, not a requirement. It might help us to strengthen our believe in your good will and faith towards us.
Of course you may take your time to investigate that case by yourself. Just keep in mind, that Cobra's previous hissing is not longer of relevance.

I see.
I did say there would be no guarantee of a cease fire right away, in particular due to, so far, there being no proper co-operation on either of our parts. I have nothing to show the ranking members of the Force to provide any reason for looking away from the Alliance. Which segues nicely into my second point.
I am not a ranking Agent within the Force. I have authority over my contacts and resources, but I cannot pull on the upper command to force our agents to act in a certain way. The next issue is that this is an inter-department conflict. Bobcat is part of HomeSec, Homeland Security. Their focus is on internal threats, and while this may not apply to every agent within it, they are a glorified police force focused on the interior of Liberty. Bobcat in particular is a glory hunter, and is looking to make a name, as opposed to looking out for the betterment of Liberty as a whole, and Bobcat outranks myself by a fair margin, as a Department Chief. That said, there is little overlap in our departments. And this moves on to my issue.
Why did the Cobra mention my name under any circumstance? Perhaps secrecy is not a trait popular with the Xenos, and being open and honest is preferred, but our dealings aren't meant to be public conversation.
And being threatened. I have until this point refrained from any attack being brought upon the Alliance when a vessel is under my command, but I would rather not have a show of capital force against the Alliance due to particularly personal threats. You will find LSF capitals to be a different beast than any other of your targets.
So it goes without saying, you will not find peace with Bobcat present, and HomeSec in general are glory hounds. I need something to show the Force to dissuade them from hostilities, but so far, our deal would not cut it, not in the infancy it is now.
And for all of our sakes, refrain from using my callsign, especially as some sort of token to escape HomeSec.
I have not forgotten about your words about conflicts and inconveniences. Yet, as you may have guessed and I think that applies for the LSF as well, we are individuals. Different goals, different attitudes, different reactions to actions.
You certainly understand that I was convinced your word would be heard within the LSF when you mentioned the deal for the first time. Obviously I was mistaken. If you want to keep this going - in secrecy - there will only be one more condition, basically a demand of our side, to make our cooperation work. And I would suggest to accept that. Not just for the sake of our deal, but for both of our organizations.
Let me explain this further, before I will actually give you the details of that condition. As I have mentioned the different views and attitudes among our people already, I must stress out that it is in my interest to protect our people. Our people as in Liberty, not just the Xenos. Whether it is the LSF, the navy, the police, companies and native civilians. Not every Xeno shares this view.
I try to prevent fights against the forces when I meet officers. Usually, they demand something unacceptable or just start to shoot already. Yet, I still always try to talk, even though I may be certain that there will be a fight upcoming. So many of us take the initiative and open fire first. Now that you - the LSF - have shot down the Cobra, you may imagine how this will end. There is a way to prevent a bloodshed between your - only those who listen to you including yourself - people and ours.
I ask you to hand us over a list. A list of members of the LSF. A list for us of who we may ignore and who will ignore us without any provocations - your people, pretty much. And again, "yours" as in "yours", not "yours" as in "the entire LSF". Your closest colleagues and friends. I hope, I have been clear enough about who I mean. Additionally, I would like to get a list of people who will most likely shoot us on sight. People like "Bobcat", HomeSec.
So we would end up with two lists. One to protect your people and one to protect ours. Be assured, that those who you would like to protect will be called out within the Alliance. We will make sure that those people will not get shot. And if you want to be really cautious, you type out their department affiliation as well. But that's up to you.
I want those lists for the sake of our people. We will keep this to secrecy.
