Amy is laughing and talking with Tori about the good old days of the PLR. As they make there way down to the Civilian Carrier, in the Rogue Fleet, Known as LR-Paduas.Resistance. Welcome our Lovely home Tori. Would you like a tour of our the ship first or after your shower sweetie?
Tori stayed half a step behind Amy, listening to what she was saying. After thinking about her options for a moment, Tori shrugs slightly, to her it didn't matter. She was just glad to be back, glad to be around Rogues again.
A.... I think..... I think a tour first would make sense..... This is amazing"
She was still timid, jumping at the slightest sound. She hoped she would feel at home soon. Despite not wanting to admit it, the years she had spent inside had broken her. She hesitated a moment before speaking again
"How..... How long have you been in charge?"
Tori was still, trying to piece together a timeline of events, everything had changed.
Amy stops in her tracks and thinks about how long it's been sense she was "Given" leadership. Um, a few months now? She starts to walk again pointing to one of the many take off doors, This is currently where ships land/repair/rearm all that fun stuff. Don't worry you will get use to living on a moving Target. She laughs as they walk past into the cafeteria. I know that you and Mokas relationship sucked.... Amy stops turning to hug Tori tightly. And I'm really sorry.
Tori remembered what It was like being a living, breathing target. She had forever been a Rogue, it was just who she was and unfortunately it was just part of the job. It made sense, the ships docking there, they needed to repair and rearm somewhere. She also took note of the cafeteria, wondering if they made a decent cup of coffee - she had forgotten the last time she had one of those.
"so it's a new thing, it seems to be going OK"
She wondered what had happened to him. After all she had followed him religiously. He was the warlord. She put her life on the line for him, and that was her downfall. She chose to stick behind, she waited around a moment too long to give him the chance to leave. She decided not to ask where he was.
"I..... It wasn't horrible.... It had its moments. I just.... Why did no one come to get me? "
That was the part that hurt. The wounds had long since healed, leaving only scars, but the thought she was left alone because no one cared enough to rescue her still stung. She tenced for a moment with the hug, before relaxing and hugging Amy back
"Im sorry.... I.... I expect it to hurt. I don't like being like this..... It was, I don't know where I was, but no one should have been treated like that."
Amy nods while wiping away a little bit of the water she had running down her face. Yea, Relatively new, but not really anything like the way he ran it. They walk by the cafeteria, and up to an Elevator as she calls it down, she thinks about what she said's To be honest, He never said anything about you, I thought you where... Pauses Dead.
Tori bites her lip, change wasn't always a bad thing - but she never liked it. Especially when it came to what she had considered family, and her home. Tori waits a few steps beind Amy as she calls the elevator.
"I would rather have been dead....."
She shrugs slightly, trying to make out that statement didn't hit her like daggers. She was one of his trusted, it didn't make sense to her. She didn't want to believe that he would just leave her like that. Despite all the attempts, she had never once said a word about where he would be, or how to find him. She had assumed he was at the very least looking.
"I guess I just wasn't that important after all......"
She sounded defeated, in that moment she was unable to play off as if it was nothing. A slight shrug, and an attempt at a smile was all she could to to try and redeem it.
Do NOT say that! Amy looks at her in disappointing look. The one who who deserves to be dead is Him... Besides your not the only "Loyal" one hes hurt. Amy as they walk into the elevator she try's to change the subject. Do you remember Harley?
She shrugged slightly, running her hand over the scar that ran up her left arm, it disappeared over her shoulder, clearly visible in the singlet top she was wearing. She thought about arguing the point, the pain she was in, she would rather someone have just put her down.
She wondered what Amy had meant by that, the look on her face would have given the confusion away. He was good to the loyal few for the most part, yes he had a temper, but she was well looked after. They suffered on Padua initially, but most came out OK in the end.
"what did he do.....?"
She followed Amy into the elivator, taking a deep breath as she did. She wasn't entirely comfortable in small spaces as she once was.
Amy Sigh's and looks back at her, with anguish in her eyes. You know when you been a Rogue to long she runs her hand across the elevator door as it opens up, when you smell and fell power-play's and poor management in your ranks. Yet your the one that get's left out, until she start to laughs and in her laugh. You found out that the reasoning you where pick was to shut up the other Rogues. She seems to get more visibly angry. All because some self appointed Arrogant, "Warlord" can't really take heat as much as his hard $#@ Portrays. Amy exits the Elevator and starts to walk down the hallway to what seems to be the Crews quarters, stopping mid-walk and push/punching the steel wall. Because no matter how many times in the past you defended him, I gave not a single #&$%ing Care about anyone but himself. So the one time that you disagrees. with a play. It's always your fault never his. she slides down the wall, and viably upset/angry, burring her arms into herself. F---&#$! Moka.
She listened, but she didn't follow Amy down the hall, not initially. She was trying to make sense of what was being said, how much had changed.... When she was left behind, they were in a good place. The Rogues were thriving, the last thing she expected was chaos among the ranks - not to this extent.
"Amy...."
She shook her head and caught up to where she had just hit the wall. It was unexpected, and she swore as it gave her a fright.
"Amy, Stop."
She didn't have to say this, as Amy slid down the wall. Tori mumbled something under her breath before sitting down next to her on the floor. She put her arm around Amy's shoulders and just sat in silence for a moment.
"I understand. I really do. I don't know what I can say... or do... to make this any better, but you are doing ok. I know you, Amy. You can't tell me you've changed that much. You've always been this amazing woman who demanded respect, and you got it. Because of who you are, not what you claim to be......"
she sighed, not sure how to make this better. She didn't realize Moka had turned his back on more than just her like this. She wanted to know why, but at this point, she didn't really care.
