The officer smirked: "Your enthusiasm and understanding are commendable. Here's your story. You successfully fled our pursuit in Zurich. After laying low for half a year, you caught wind of changing situation in Gallia and decided to return.
There, you found out how low the Council have fallen. Having achieved their goals and established their Gallic Republique, they cast aside the troublesome Maquis allies they no longer needed. To top it off, they sided with the nobles from Burgundy, who were eager to make deals with anyone to hold on to their castles and power."
She paused, letting the news sink in: "If that doesn't make you angry, I don't know what does. I figure you'd like to exact vengeance on both the Council and the Duchy. Maybe also on the Corsicans who run the so-called Minarchy of Provence, just for good measure. How you do that is up to you."
She began scheming inside herself, trying to figure a way to outsmart the officer, and get what she wants. "I will need resources. And my ship. Any other would raise suspicion"
"You shall have the ship, the means to contact us, and anything we can provide," the officer turned around, walking towards the exit. "The rest is up to you." With that, the officer left the cell, closing the door behind her.
