Subject: GMG Activity in Sigma-21 Esteemed Admirals of Rheinland Military,
We, the IRMM are contacting you regarding reports from MNS in Sigma-21 about a sudden surge of GMG vessels within the system apparently trying to take down a base. Since Malta has a history with Rheinland Military in Sigma-21, we'd like to know if these reports have any weight. And if so, we hope you wouldn't mind if we take a part in the fights against the GMG. Pressing the enemy from two sides is afterall a proven Military tactic.
I find your request, and desire to help, unusual. However, we have been informed by our Abwehr colleagues of your recent understandings, and reportedly outcast forces have already proven of some use - from whom, I presume, these reports originate. I can confirm that heavy GMG activity is being monitored in the Sigma-21 system in reaction to the Saigon Autonomous Council's construction of an Ore processing facility.
Given our current position on the Gas Miners, we would certainly welcome your efforts to take the fight to them, and more generally any pressure your organisation can exert on GMG's supply lines and rear areas would certainly not be forgotten. However, I cannot permit your forces to broadly access the Sigma-21 system; in accordance with the agreements between the Kusari and Rheinland Houses and the Treaty of Nevers, you must seek such authorisation directly from the Saigon Autonomous Council (SAC).
