I am Kapitän Klemens Kossuth and I serve, or I am supposed to serve, the Rheinland Military Active Fleet. I have spent the last week at Oder Shipyard, supervising the construction of a new Tirpitz-class, the Admiral Sterr. The ship is complete, but when I tried to report to the RM HQ and later the Bundestag, I suddenly did not have access to the channels, but I had not received any notice of being relieved from duty. No one aboard Oder knew anything and then the workers suddenly went into a strike. A freelancer in the bar told me he had seen Military vessels with transponders flashing "MKR" patrolling Bundesrepublik space. My crew and I have important questions: what is happening? Do you know whose orders we are supposed to take now? Who are you?

Begin communique:
Kapitän Kossuth, you were right in reaching out to us. There appears to be something of a shakeup ongoing in the higher echelons, most probably due to the sudden retirement of multiple senior Rheinwehr officers. At the same time, the reorganization of defensive fleets in the wake of budget reallocations and Bundestag-directed reprioritizations in the wake of the Kusari conflict has caused much confusion regarding new deployments, which is what I expect is going on here.
The Streitmächte - that’s us - has the benefit of parallel organization that slightly predates all this confusion. Admiral Morgenstern has been swamped in paperwork, naturally, but among other things you’ll soon see us bearing [SMR] idents, rather than [MKR]. As this reorganization goes on, if you and your crew cannot wade through all the radio silence and red tape alone, I imagine Admiral Morgenstern would be interested in forcing through an assignment of the Admiral Steer to her own command.
I hope this helps clear things up somewhat, but if you have further issues due to the ongoing state of affairs, while I likely cannot be of direct personal assistance, I can at least forward things to the right people; I have a knack for navigating bureaucracy, and I’d be pleased to serve as a point of contact for the Streitmächte, though hopefully it won’t be necessary as the official dust settles and normal channels become reavailable.
