Sender: Enseigne de Vaisseau Miroslav de Gobineau Recipient: Order Primary Fleet Subject: Logistics and supplying
Bonjour, cher Order.
My name is Miroslav de Gobineau and I am Enseigne de Vaisseau or "sub-lieutenant" of Marine Nationale Gauloise, captain of MNG Monastere de Solan. I am part of La Division des Omicrons - battlegroup of Marine Nationale stationed in Omicron Delta and I am responsible for all logistics of said battlegroup.
I'll be brief and try to speak only about essentials. Currently, La Division des Omicrons has limited ability to perform proper maintenance and supplying assets due to distances. Our main proper way of obtaining fuel and munitions is through secondary AuTaurotte: Tau-53-Kusari trade highway. Unfortunately, I can't say that this way is 'stable' as Kusarian friend-or-foe systems for some reason consider Gallic ships hostile. Some political tensions probably, I have no information about that.
But I can deduct that there's some other way around. First of all, I am asking for information about possibility of obtaining maintenance for ships. Biggest ship we host - transport-type L'Ane and currently this ship requires most service due to... some issues with virtual intelligence systems and databases. Basically, ship systems has turned on itself and are making mess because of that. I suspect this is because of leftover Conseil codes. We also might require access to alloys and specialized repair equipment for smaller ships.
Second and most important thing. Daumann presence means that there is stable connection with Rheinland and Omicron sector. Gallia also has a connection with Rheinland through newly emerged Zurich. Simple logic tells that Daumann have a stable way to supply that base and we can exploit that. I haven't contacted Daumann as I am a navy officer and I feel that trying to contact big business is counter-productive.
I am looking forward to contact your logistic officers and I hope we are going to have a fruitful cooperation.

Logistics
Ensign Gobineau. Your Commandant and intelligence detachment travelling with you had mentioned the topic of logistics. We both think alike: any operation requires line of supply, or risk running out of steam. I am Admiral Golanski, C.O. of combined Order forces in Sirius. Due to relatively sensitive and diplomatic nature of Order-Gallic relations, I have taken it upon myself to address those issues. Planning ahead to maintain a network of agents and ships across the entirety of known space should speak enough of my competence in the matter.
L’ane? I saw a couple of those back in Gallia. Beautiful Corse design and handcraft. Maintenance and repair can be done on most Order installations. As we speak, we are working out our IFF systems to accommodate your entire battlegroup. We do not want to take any chances with minefields, autonomous weapon platforms or worse. In the meantime we can send some of our engineers alongside a linguistic expert to bypass shipboard VI until a more permanent solution can be implemented. We have personal experience with rogue Gammuian AI or ‘toasters’ as we call them, necessitating development and introduction of more sophisticated ‘dumber’ but e-war proof electronic systems. VI are merely well camouflaged mockery of true intelligence.
Fuel is unavoidably required to be imported from your homeland. Nobody in Sirius is using fossil fuels nowadays with the exception of some ground vehicles. While I understand that your reactors function on the same fusion principles, obtaining high quality compatible oil on-site is impossible at this moment of time. All we can do is store surplus amounts planet-side for later use.
The Daumann. Contractor of the Core. It's teeming with foreign intelligence agents and spies that I doubt would take kindly to competition. Most direct route out of Omicron Delta leads straight to hotly contested Sigmas.Core controls one node, while The Order controls another. I am going to offer any and all transports under your command unrestricted access though ‘Eridani Abyss’ which will land you in GMG space that had been spared horrors of the latest war. From that point onwards, Kusari and Rheinland are easily accessible and pirate activity is at an all time low if you move fast. Generally only madmen and Nomad-aligned forces attack heavily armored Order convoys.
I do have something to offer you. Once the hurdles of docking rights will be sorted, The Order does sit on a world full of rare metals. The most valuable of that is Palladium: a useful catalyst of many industrial processes and high value component of energy and electronic systems. Due to scarcity of this material in Sirius, we can exploit this niche as one can carry aforementioned cargo without any legal issues. Specifics can be discussed in the near-future on Akabat itself.

Monsieur Golanski, je vous salue.
I feel honored by your decision to contact me, a humble logistics officer, such a pleasure.
Of course, I'll accept your offer. More over, Monastere de Solan is a very specialized transport ship with a very long and honorable history. While L'ane was constructed as a quick and 'under-the-radar' capable medium transport for hauling all kind of forbidden goods, Monastere de Solan was modernized and re-fitted by Council Liberation Navy to act as a covert medium-capacity blockade-runner and long-range supplier. A design that can be very useful and interesting for a Order logistical efforts I imagine. Thus I am not encouraging you but I won't comply if you also send some regular engineers and ship designers. Gesture of a good will, I think. Between you and me, monsieur Golanski, I am also interested in closer cooperation with that matter. I was never a 'technological' purist as I was member of Gallic Council back in the days and I am used to modifying my ships with foreign technology. Let's hope that Marine Nationale command won't be very hostile to that idea - we have observed effectiveness of your technology in recent siege of Core assets and I'll hope that there is some big plans for RnD full-scale cooperation.
Also, in the meantime we got confirmation about new wormhole anomaly in Omicron Theta leading to Gallic system of Picardie. This is quite unexpected yet great turn of events. Problem of shaky supply lines is shelved for some time: anomaly is stable enough for high-capacity transport and we are waiting for resolution to current issue with landing codes and friend-foe systems as I am planning to ask you for rental of some storage facilities on any base or planet so we can properly set up logistical base of operations in Omicron sector. I'll do my best to plan everything efficiently and compactly thus we wouldn't be a nuisance in the future. Currently we are postponing big supply runes from Gallia as this can attract too much attention to our presence and complicate things - we are still very unsure about how to approach other powers in Omicrons and we still stay neutral to all parties there but this is just matter of time when these other parties will ask questions we don't want to answer.
In the end, we are still in process of waiting for clearance. As you said, we can talk about future logistical and economic plans personally and I am looking forward to that. If you are interested in observing Monastere de Solan - I'll move it to a little bit more secure place than an Ennibeck Spaceport so your experts can do their thing.

Logistics
You, your crew and the ship under your command are hereby invited to Taba Starbase, located in Omicron Mu. Work will begin on the station at earliest convenience. Should your ship IFF malfunction, await assistance from Order pilots prior to entering Omicron Mu. Once in-system, you are to assume the highest level of discipline and diligence until vacating boundaries of Orillion Ice Field. Failure to do so may result in catastrophic decompression due to the presence of hi-tech minefield surrounding Omicron Minor jumphole. The only viable exit points straight towards Taba in high orbit over Djeba.

Once in the system, you will have relative freedom of navigation with sole exception of the Wall of Seth - the entire nebula is off-limits to non-Order personnel without proper authorization from Overwatch. Details of the system will be listed in a specific brief aimed towards members of Gallic’s Omicron’s battlegroup.
