Trouble seems to follow you around. In the form of both creepy men and stray ordnance. Ridgenose has been appropriately reprimanded for forgetting his trigger discipline. But I don't appreciate the situation I was just forced to navigate. John's been useful, and now I've literally burned the bridge between us.
I have no regrets with having to tear his ship open. We won't tolerate the Unioners trying to dictate what happens to who within our borders. And if he hasn't got the message by now, then I'm sure Contender keeps 240 reminders on hand at any given time.
I don't care much for this John or whatever. I care even less about the Union and their affairs, but if my guys see them, our intentions will be hostile. I am sad that your contractor turned out to be working for the enemy, but I have no clue about what he wanted from me.
I like your style of dealing with such problems, not gonna lie. They think must faster when they are being shot at. But that's the general problem with freelancer and independent mercs, you cannot rely on them. About the burning bridges, I think deals that we have had recently are much more of an importance than some freelancers. I actually think it is time that we take another step and cooperate closer, since Liberty Rogues seems to be unreasonable and we require to extend our markets, otherwise we will enter a period of stagnation.
My reasons to be in Liberty, I just returned back from vacations and there are some shifts happening in Bering. I decided to check that out. Navies and LSF are the usual problems during such travels, but you learn to deal with them over the years.
And yes, I demand that your pilot that have dropped a nuclear mine on my ship is being punished.
Your demand is noted, but with all due respect the reprimand isn't about you alone. That could have been me instead, and the consequences of that would have been quite substantial.
As far as closer cooperation is concerned, I'd need to know what you have in mind. We don't appreciate seeing your pilots entitling themselves to whatever spoils that might interest them in Liberty. I've granted you a blind eye as far as the current arrangement is concerned. But if I see anything other than transports and escorts, I'm shooting them.
I'm not going to commit ourselves into further ventures with your organization when you still give the Junkers undue preference. I know the only thing you care about is the spread of your product. It's not going to spread effectively if the Junkers decide the Rogues and Unioners are better business partners, or if we focus on interrupting shipments to Rochester more frequently.
You want to rough up the Unioners in Bering? Fine. But I'm drawing the line at the Texas gate and no further. Use the Laptev corridor and respect that line. Maybe I'll consider what you have in mind if you can behave.
It's weird that you imply that I care about Junkers or their wellbeing. Junkers don't care much about loyalties, why do you think that I have any special feelings towards them? It is the truth that right now they control good portions of the market, but I see no reason to exclude other parties from trade. I am willing to provide as many goods as you will be able to distribute. If you will manage to take some portions of the market from them or anyone else, then we will provide more. I don't want to pick sides, I want money.
I don't want to do anything about those Rheinlanders. I don't want to see them in areas where we do operate. My visit to Bering was a matter of curiosity. Liberty is the market, as long as sales are going up there and nothing threatens the profits there's no reason to have "boots on the ground". Especially heavy assets.
Fair enough. If you won't get in the way and won't contest our efforts against the Junkers then you have some degree of tolerance to rely on. Since you have no actual interest in Liberty beyond its market, then I expect you have no problem with the terms I prescribed.
The current arrangement is upheld, and in return you never try to meddle in Liberty beyond the occasional cargo run. Any of your pilots that either knowingly or unknowingly break these terms make themselves liable to violent reprisal.
Having established this, you're still yet to tell me what you were thinking about when you brought up the offer of closer cooperation. I'm going to need more details than that if you want me to take the idea seriously.
You seem to be very tensed, we are just talking. I think I made it clear that I am not interested in fighting wars for junkers against my own customers.
I do not quite understand what do you mean by "meddling" in Liberty. Guys are in to ensure that business is going well and to teach some to respect the family. As I understand your movement is political and no, I do not care for Libertorian domestic affairs. Maybe I will if the matter of legalization of Cardamine will be discussed, but I'd get involved there naturally as the importer. Other than that I could not care less about what you are doing in Liberty and local politics.
I'm just making our position abundantly clear to you at the outset. Gives you the benefit of not being blindsided by disapproval down the line and it generally helps to know what you're getting yourself into. I don't think we have anything left to talk about for the time being, but I'd appreciate being clued into your visits before you actually turn up on our doorstep. Can't deter Union influence if I never know when John's skulking around.
You mentioned that you only cared about money, and that if I managed to capture a portion of the market, then you would not care. I'm going to assume that you're the sort of person that means what you say, at least you seem the type, but I feel like it needs to be asked for posterity's sake and avert potential misunderstanding.
Now that's weird, you send some really abstract message as opposed to being all about concrete things on the ground before. Did something go wrong? When I said about markets and stuff I mostly meant my approach to Liberty. Beyond that I have other interests, Why asking though?
