I'm a little sceptical about the mortar - it doesn't make a huge dent in a BC's or BS's hull, but the power drain is punishing. It's only saving grace is its range.
Keep it like this. although freely replace the mortar with a third cerb and see which is more convenient for you. Like this, playstyle will be different. It is also fine to only have one pulse cannon, but you have to be mindful on which side it is.
