In response to the sudden, violent Imperial coup an their opportunist nature causing destabilization across Rheinland territories, 5th Fleet forces are increasing border patrols in southern Texas and Hudson systems. A large amount of traffic has been filtering in from Rheinland, fleeing the Imperialist coup. With the situation highly unstable, 5th fleet is dedicating a number of heavy gun warships to beef security on our border and maintain security of fleeing refugees. Orders will be standing for 5th Fleet at this time until further direction is given from the Secretary of Defense regarding the situation down south.

At this time diplomatic communications with alleged Imperialist government has not been established and at this time elements approaching the Liberty border and to be turned away without question. Rheinland corporate traffic is to proceed as normal. Refugees and transports carrying refugees are to be directed to Houston Refugee center on Houston pending relocation. Refugees transports are to inspected for hostile agents or smugglers attempting to infiltrate the border.

If Imperial elements refuse to back down from the Liberty border, you are weapons free. At this time Imperial elements are a illegitimate foreign military force.

Security Forces vessels will continue their cordon of the Bering system and will be conducting intelligence operations south of the border. Outside of a forward deployment of the Mobile Operations Center Freedom to the Hudson system, we cannot offer additional assets to assist with the situation at this time. Be advised, however, that LSF ROE - until clarified otherwise - has determined Imperialist warships to be considered outside the terms of the Rheinland - Liberty ceasefire, and as such will be fired upon if they enter Hudson and refuse to leave immediately.
