| With the mining machinery that the IMG brought to us, we are now able to start testing mining capabilities with a few types of ore “Uranium Ore”, “Raw Hydrocarbons” and “Platinum-198 ore”. Our main priority is Uranium and Platinum ore.
| We have acquired two “Drone” class freighters from our GC friends, and are now making suitable attachments to allow these new mining machinery parts to fit on and able to break the rock around the ores.
Test fire run, well let's say those rocks and ore are well completely destroyed. The mining lasers are putting out way too much power and destroying any trace of the ores we tried to mine. We must address this and get the lasers to draw a lot less power just enough to break the rock to get the ore we want.
| First field day out with the new “Drone” prototype miner, we will first try some “platinum-198” ore in Nagano. It is a very slow process to gather this ore without the proper means of retrieving it before it scatters into space, but we must do what we can for now and work on increasing the amount we can get without destroying half of the ore. The same with the “Uranium Ore” and “Raw Hydrocarbons” just a lot slower as it seems to be a lot harder to gather with our current tech.
| We have used some of the mining machinery that we have been given, we have enough for spares if anything does go wrong on these two prototype ships, so far so good.
Next we need some Optronics in order to fine tune our mining lasers, 8,000 units are to be delivered to Sendai Research Complex to be in use immediately.
| With the new Optronics that we have received, our mining laser trials have reported an increase in beam focusing efficiency. Meaning that we have managed to decrease the amount of ore destroyed in the mining process and bring more ore into our holds faster than we could before.
| These new lasers have already been equipped onto our prototype mining J20P - 2IF "Drone" class freighter.
| Following a change in market demand, our priority excavations should be for Uranium and Hydrocarbons, with Platinum ore as a secondary yield. Raiders should be updated with this information, as to distinguish priority targets.
| We need 8,000 units of Superconductors, 4,000 units of Tungsten and 4,000 units of Basic Alloys; to be delivered to Sendai Research Complex in order to hasten our mining efforts. The resources required to build a new tractor system are already in stock on Sendai.
| With the commodities received we have been able to develop a new tractor beam system that pulls ore directly into the holds of our prototype mining J20P - 2IF "Drone" class freighter as it mines, instead of having to do both operations separately.
| We now have everything we need to bring our two (2) prototypes into fully operational status as mining vessels. We shall be acquiring Raw Hydrocarbons and Uranium as soon as they head out. Platinum ore is a possibility but not a priority for us.
